We didn't eat here but stopped by for a pre-dinner drink. Lovely old place with original decor. Good selection of local wines.

We much enjoyed our meal at the restaurant. Typical French food, fresh and delicious. Our best meal we have experienced in Paris with nice smiles of the waiter and the fantastic manager. They even explained their tasty dishes in Italian. We really liked their efforts in pleasing us, even though were their last guests of 2016! We were delighted by... More

I have eaten here a few times and the food is always delicious. This time we just came for drinks, the bar was empty but the place was busy as usual. Received a comp'd glass of bubbly (based on the per glass or per bottle pricing.) The service can be 'particular', but I don't pay it any mind. If you... More

The service was very arrogant and the food was terrible. Taste like microwave and fake food. Paid almost 65€ for 2 meals.

Went for beers with a couple of friends early in the evening. Got introduced to the owners by a French speaking acquaintance, all was good and well. The couple running the restaurant then proceeded to ignore our attempts at ordering for about 30 minutes (restaurant was half empty and no other customers at the bar). We left as we came.... More

This is a restaurant that serves traditional French food accompanied by personalized service. We sat on the patio and were delighted by the privacy and great service.

We went here on the advice of our apartment owner. We went for lunch and had the 3 course prix fixe with a bit of wine and were quite happy. I had some type of 'shoulder of hare'....pardon my poor French translation :-) It was extremely tasty....it almost overwhelmed my tastebuds! But the mille-fuille for dessert was wonderfully light and... More

There are so many "traditional French" restaurants in Paris and this is one of the oldest, and perhaps one of the better ones. It has been here for a hundred years and not much has changed, save for a few computer terminals to ring up your bill. It is arranged in a traditional manner, has traditional furnishings, and even has... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
