Kitchen: I had a horse steak and my girlfriend a chicken leg.

Dinner with my wife and daughter. The waiter was over worked and seemed to be serving everyone else than us. You know, forgetting to give us a menu , the people arrive next to us, get their menu, get their dinner and drinks and we are still waiting for our menu..I needed a Eskimo to chew my rump steak .Bad experience...couldn't wait to get out of this restaurant...

I ,along with my twin brother Stephen dropped into Le Petit Poucet and what a great time we had.
Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here ,the interior is lovely ,a cool looking serving bar ,shabby chic decor and furnishings and lots of seating options both inside and outside ,it's a good bar to chill out in .
We were here on a Saturday night ,we sat near the serving bar were we ordered and were served a beer each from Kronembourg Brewery ( 1664 beer ) and these beers were served in tip top condition being iced cold and sparkling ,we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular bar.
My beer was really good ,it's a famous French beer ,light and hoppy ,when this beer is served freezing cold as in this bar it's such a delicious beer indeed but then again in this bar when beers are priced at €6 for a 25cl glass and €9.50c for a 50cl glass it should be a good beer .
We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to here we had a great time.
Le Petit Poucet is easy to locate on Place De Clichy.

We were pleased to be let in 5 minutes early on a Sunday night and had a nice table overlooking the river. After that the service was poor, indifferent and resentful. I'd send all the staff down the road to In Casa to learn about warmth, smiling, how to welcome people and make them feel part of the experience.
Food was ok, but at 27 euros for fish (whiting) and chips, we expected better. The green curry was stir-fried vegetables in a shallow soup with green sauce spattered around the brim. Different but less enjoyable than any version cooked at home. But the Moelleux was excellent and the muscadet well priced and enjoyable.
We won't be back. It's not difficult to find better places in the area.

The manager is absolutely horrible with customers, do not go there address to banish, rude rude disrespectful and insulting, she smiles at you taking you for a m*rde, we were there after a wonderful time at the European door next door for a show of a friend, she ruined everything.

Poucet was my go to Cafe in Paris as I stayed nearby . The breakfasts were best. Try the omelettes. Good juices and coffees. Nice friendly service. However, once you have your order, it’s a bit challenging to get service again. Another coffee perhaps. Difficulties with change when paying the bill were a little amusing and confusing. I also enjoyed my spritz after a busy day wandering and seeing the sights, before walking home. Poucet had the Parisian romantic feel for me. I liked it. Le Petit Poucet. Tom Thumb.
