During our trip to Paris, we ate here twice. The food was excellent and the staff was great. We had meat on the stick both nights. The Udon noodles were also very good.

Couldn't fault the service, food or price. Big portions so don't over order, best to start small and add more if needed. Highly recommended if you fancy a change from French food.

This restaurant is located next to a little plaza close to St. Georges. The food is very nice, and not so expensive. As I am personally not a big fish eater, I took multiple times different brochettes. Very delicious over and over again! I can recommend this place to everybody! Quick service, not expensive and a nice and calm atmoshpere.

Staying a few days in Paris can leave you with a craving for good old fashioned asian cuisine. Rice, staple fare for us asians is not really a common find in Paris, so when we decided to look for an asian restaurant Trip Advisor gave us a list with Yumiko as one of the top recommendations. Good thing Yumiko was... More

Was looking for something light and fresh after a couple of days of French food. This restaurant was quiet and relaxed with attentive and friendly multilingual staff. The menu was extensive with a mix of sushi, sashimi, hand rolls, grilled meat sticks and noodle dishes. There were many different set menu options and these provided wonderful value. Easily the best... More

I've got to admit, I've been going to Yumiko for years, and only now, i've got around to reviewing it. For as long as I can recall, Yumiko has been serving excellent quality sushi at very good prices, in a simple, laid back environment, with charm and warmth in their style. In a city with no shortage of good Japanese... More

If you like Japanese food this is the place to go. It is a cosy place with decent prices and good sushi and sashimi. Service was nice and fast. Would come again for Japanese food.

Wanted some non-French food and decided on this restaurant near our hotel. We ordered saba fish and skewers with rice. The saba fish was good, just a little too salty but the portion was big. Some hits and some misses for the meat skewers. We loved the dessert (chocolate caramel ice cream but it was not a homemade or Japanese... More

We popped in here on a recent trip to Paris. Living in the country for part of the year, we really don't have easy access to sashimi and sushi, so this was a no-brainer for lunch. The menus were good, service professional. The "kir coloured liquid" offered on arrival was a mystery, but the glasses I saw being returned to... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
