We bumped into this ( thankfully) while looking for lunch options. LOCATION ========= Very close to the Latin Quarter ( Notre Dame metro station) but hidden inside a lane. Since we discovered this place, we ensured that we had our next 3 meals here ; including our last meal before leaving for airport :) MAOZ was one of the highlights... More

This is a delightful place for the vegetarians. They offer a special Falafel sandwich with a salad bar. You can add a lot of veggies and dressings to the sandwich and have a very filling vegetarian meal at a nominal cost.

I'm often in Paris and go to this place. I know I can find my healthy vegetarian fast food. A lot of non vegetarians go as well as they like the falafel. I recommend it!

This is a place where they give you a pita and place a few falafels in it and then you dress it up with toppings that they have like a salad bar - lots of yummy chutneys, sauces, relishes, veggies, etc. The sandwich was filling and tasty but the service left a lot to be desired. We ordered 2 packets... More

We needed a quick bite after a long day of touring and didn't want to be weighed down with anything heavy. Enter Maoz and their delicious salads and pitas. The falafel was cooked while we waited and was fresh and hot. It's serve yourself for salad (to add to the pita too), yhetes plenty of optuons and it's all very... More

In Paris it's hard to find veggie food but this place is so tasty. It's no 5 star joint but the falafel is just super, salads are really tasty and overall I would go back here time and time again.

After a long stumble around St Michel, it becomes quite tiresome attempting to find a decent restaurant at a decent price. After walking around for a long time we decided out of convenience to try Maoz. The falafel was great (not dry as it so often is) but the cous cous legumes was fantastic. And all so filling for the... More

What is the need to review a Maoz! It is the best falafel in the world, no matter which location you go. This is no exception. Compared to the other location in Paris, just a few hundred meters away, this one is cleaner because it is usually less crowded, and also has more seating places. Go for it! For 5... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
