I prefer not to review these types of restaurants. This time an exception. For: Nice interior and design choices. Authentic Tibetan masks everywhere. Against: Flat, blunt taste without any species or specialties. Basically overpriced IKEA diner. Dishes are rather small, and representation does not help the case. If you decided to check it out anyways, make sure to try their... More

- Very kind people, good prices - Food wasn't tasty, even flat on some dishes. Very disappointed. Tyically for foreigners (starters/main course/dessert) which means big loss of authenticity. I really don't recommend unless they make efforts on food's quality and try not to go "French style Tibetan" (surprise not to see chopsticks)

Great simple food, prepared well and served with a smile. Very intimate small restaurant ideal for couples and not noisy.

The restaurant was close to my hotel, it has a nice atmosphere with relaxing music. There are menus for vegeterian (18.5 Euro) and for non vegeterian (24.5 Euro). I took soup with lamb, which was quite poor in flavors and dish was small, for the main I took lamb with vegetables with steamed bread , it was nice but not... More

We came upon this restaurant by accident. We were trying to go to another place around the corner but it was completely booked. My friend and I saw this restaurant's sign and we decided to give it a try. I'd never had Tibetan food before so I wasn't sure what it would be like but I figured it'd be similar... More

Tibetan cuisine was new to me, but the TashiTagye made a convert of me. Do try the soup of roasted barley and goat's cheese. I had a chicken curry that combined the best of Chinese and Nepalese characteristics. Also a very fine chicken stir-fry. There is a good range of vegetarian food, and many beef dishes. The Tibetan tea is... More

After 4 visits at this restaurant, it's about time to share this great experience. Not only tibetan food is surprising, with specific flavours (everything is worth trying); but also the owner is an amazing character. If you have the chance to be there when it's not crowded (come early), ask Tiki to tell you about her coming to France, and... More

We couldn't believe our luck when we stumbled across this heaven of culinary delight when wandering not far from our hotel in search for food. The meals are delicious, the staff are lovely and the prices are great. And if your vegetarian there's loads of choice - a real treat! If your in the area make sure you find the... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
