Decent food, waiter understands English, more of less courteous, overall okay. The menu spread was decent. Price on the higher side.

The food was ok, the service was bad, the waiter was very unfriendly. Although he could speak english he was talking french to us and he was annoyed by every of our request of food or changing table since it was cold and we were sitting next to the door.

The food was disappointing (also the dessert) and rather expensive for what they offer. The service was not so good as well. I wouldn't go there again.

We happened upon this place as it was just around the corner from the police station, as my niece had just been pick pocketed by a very professional team on pont neuf. It seems reasonably full of locals, so we gave it a shot. Reasonably priced for Paris, not an overly long menu, but all the usual suspects were there,... More

Stopped in for a late afternoon espresso and the staff was welcoming and efficient. Nice ambiance and a great location adjacent to Metro, boulangerie, fishmonger and wine shop.

What are the ingredients of a hood brasserie? I suggest ambiance, great good value food and friendly efficient service. If i m right then le village ronsard just off rue monge goes to the top of the pile. Great ambiance, excellent quality food at a sensible price, and our waiter was not only very friendly but efficient too. After your... More

Ate here twice during our stay in Paris. Food was very nice and reasonably priced. They have a good wine selection and the waiter was attentive and charming. Would recommend this restaurant to families wanting a good feed, pleasant atmosphere and reasonable prices.

First night in Paris and we found this place. Great location on the street. Menu was good. Of course, the waiter was a bit snippy but we expected that as Americans. Shared a cheese board with meat and my boyfriend got the onion soup and duck, which he liked. A bit pricey.

I have been here with my wife for my birthday and Frederic has proved himself to be the most arrogant waiter I have ever met. He actually had the balls to come to me and tell me his name as he guessed writing a review.

We really enjoyed ourselves sitting at this classic Paris outdoor cafe. Food was very good, service excellent and prices fair. The menu had helpful English translation. My wife loved the Quiche Lorraine. Enjoy the wine!

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
