We were graciously welcomed by a bunch of servers with smiles and escorted to a nice table by the windows for our after-dinner drinks. Pretty bar, cute interior, popular place. Made me happy.

During our stay in Paris we were lucky to stay near rue de Montorgueil. This charming street is full with lovely cafes, bars and shops that attract mainly local French people. One of these is le Cafe Du Centre, a typically french cafe with many choices as well for food and deserts. We liked both the cafe and the deserts... More

Excellent cafe in the most hip/ chic neighborhood in Paris center. Staff was always cheerful and rolling on high vibes. Best place to people watch and hang out with great friends.

The wine is nice, the french selection of hams and cheese plates were different but not that nice. The location is good.

We ate lunch at Cafe du Centre on 7/26/16. We had a pretty good meal here. My wife and friend had Salad Nicoise and I had a loin of pork in jus and dauphinoise potatoes. the pork also came with a small salad. The salads looked very tasty and came with a nice bunch of anchovie fillets; I ate my... More

This cafe has a great location. Situated at a busy Street where you can really enjoy The seatings with a street view. But be aware that is is very expensive considering The standard. A pint of normal draft beer is more that 9 €.

We sat and had a delightful three course meal here, washed down with well recommended rose. A very good atmosphere, with the bustling pedestrian streets of Paris outside. A really nice and simple dining experience with all the great qualities of French cuisine.

We loved eating at the tables overlooking the open air patio and people watching all of the Parisians walking by. The food was delicious- I recommend the duck and frites! Staff was very friendly and helpful.

this is an other different bar to enjoy the best of the Marais. You can order from your breakfast to evening snack with friendly staff and average prices overall I had fun seating down and enjoy.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
