The Gosselin on Rue St. Germain looks promising with its enticing selection of pastries and fine baked goods. We were disappointed, however, with the quality of the items we purchased - pricey, yet not up to what one would expect in terms of freshness and flavour; service was also nothing to write home about.

This place have so many lovely pastries. So many selections you will have hard time choosing what to get! I got quiche and a fruit cup took it to the Seine River to have a quick lunch. It was very yummy!

This pastry shop has no tables, but you can easily eat outside in the sidewalk. Everything is really good, the macaroons, the eclairs, everything. This is one of those places that tourists know nothing about, so they flock to the popular places and pay a premium. Don't tell anyone, this is our secret...

We walked here from our hotel daily for morning croissants and baguettes. We tried some dessert tarts as well. Everything was so fresh, reasonably priced, and exceptional all-around. I will seek this boulangerie out on my next trip to Paris.

We stopped in one evening for some take-away desserts. We had the chocolate eclairs, macarons and the strawberry tart. All desserts were excellent! So much so, we returned the following night for more. :)

I visited this gorgeous bakery to buy one of their Mille-feuille - a cake I adore and hunt for across the globe. The shop was packed with customers and the food looked amazing. Lots of sandwiches and cakes and bread. I bought a vanilla Mille-feuille for €3 and walked to eat it on the ands of the River Seine in... More

We were on a weekend city break and eating croissants here every morning was one of the best things we could do in Paris.
