I visited solo on a business trip. Food and service were good and without major flaws. Restaurants has small cozy feel and food is quite authentic with appropriate typically French smallish portions which was appreciated. Desert was the highlight for me (molten chocolate cake). Staff were helpful and spoke some English but sadly no wifi. Would go again.

The food was fine, but the staff was very annoyed that we had a 2PM(14:00) reservation, and we had a very feisty reception. We were rushed through the lunch, all in all very unpleasant. They could simply have said that they have the last reservation at 13:30. The food was OK, matching the price level.

The four of us had an extraordinary lunch. I really loved my rabbit dish. The service was efficient and the atmosphere conducive to conversation.

This is a small, cosy restaurant that has a limited, but variable, menu and a similar style wine list. The staff were very helpful to explain the menu / words I couldn't read in French and the the food was simple, tasty, and excellent. I can recommend the piquillos, volaille confit, and the financier dessert! Bookings are recommended.

Thank you to all at Les Botanistes for a lovely dinner during my recent three day stay in Paris. I arrived early, hoping for a table, and was offered a space despite the restaurant being fully booked. Whilst elsewhere this might have an inconvenience for employees I was made to feel welcome and not in the least rushed by the... More

Home made seasonal food cooked and served to perfection. From the porc terrene to the baked rabbit, the simplicity of each dish was its greatest asset. My Cod screamed perfection on simple mashed potatoes and herbs and my partners lappin was as perfectly simple yet moist and flavoursome. Sweets were delicate and a satisfying end to the meal. The menu... More

We have, over the years, eaten here several times. Not sure what occurred bit is has gotten even better than we remembered. Same wonderful and interested staff with the days menu written on a blackboard. The wine selection dado has increased.

If you are looking for a great place to eat lunch, close to Bon Marche, this is a god choice. Its a really nice and genuine French restaurant, offering a better food experience than the traditional bistros. Les Botanistes is situated in Saint Germain des près, one of Paris' most expensive neighborhood, yet the food is good value for money.... More

We have an apartment in Paris, but it is currently let out - so we visit Paris regularly to check everything is OK and stay at an hotel. We have, then, tried out quite a few restaurants in Paris over the years! This was our first visit to Les Botanistes. It had good reviews, but I suppose we really went... More

My son and I both had the foie gras for starters and it was very tasty, so fresh. He then had chicken and I had the beef fillet with a nice, unctuous gratin dauphinoise. We both agreed the food was very good. He then had the rum baba which he loved. I kind of maybe chose the wrong wine, fine... More
