This pub is proof that you don't have to break the bank when you have a night out in Paris, you just have to know where to look. Their draft beers are excellent and fairly priced, definitely cheaper than most bars that tend to be touristy. It's a great place to chill and hang out and I highly recommend it.

People think Paris is expensive to go drinking, wrong, not if you know where to go. There are plenty of bars in the latin quarter where you won't wake up the next morning feeling you have been robbed, The Wall is one such place. Not only is it cheap but the bar staff are friendly and you tend to meet... More

Everywhere in Paris, drinks are quite convenient prices when happy hour.. but after, it goes high. In this pub, this stays very correct, 5€ cocktails (small, but good), 5€ pints, etc etc. Don't be affraid to get your drink in a plastic glass The atmosphere is young & erasmus. Good place for budget travellers. Note that after 2am it becomes... More

Located to a very typical Parisian place, Place de la contrescarpe, which is full of bars, this one is perhaps the students' favourite. You can find a chair only if you are lucky! This is one is the cheapest of the cafes of the place, yet it has limited view of the Place. Tip: Take advantage of the happy hours... More

It's located in front of a nice square in quartier latin (metro place monge). You can find a good cheap beer (3euros the pint) and others beverage. Usually very crowded after 8pm. close the doors at 12am but you can stay untill 2am.

The Wall in Paris is located in Moufftard area, a student area. They sell a wide range of special beers for 5 EUR like blanche and La Chouffle (1/5 litlre). The crowd is more international than France. During the day they change the glasses for plastic cups.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
