We returned again on the last weekend of our 2 1/2 week visit to France, with side trip to Andorra, and had a fantastic meal on 30 October 2021. Our favorite table by the window was saved for us. We arrived and were warmly welcomed by Nathalie and her young gentleman assistant. We just touched shoulders instead of the usual bisou due to current health issues! Once seated, we began with the usual complimentary tap water and were given a small plate of welcome bites! I ordered the set menu. The beginning was the delicious warmed foie gras, Escalopine de foie gras poêlée au Gaillac sur un pain d'épices toasté, jus réduit de Gaillac et raisins followed by a main dish of scallops in a delicious sauce, Saint Jacques flambées au Noilly Prat, champignons de Paris et girolles, sauce crémée. For dessert, I had a choice but went with the special menu suggestion of pear in sauce, Pêche rôtie au Cognac et sa crème brûlée au citron. My other half started with pumpkin soup, soupe à la citrouille, followed by the fish of the day, probably sea bass, Poisson du Jour. He had some of my dessert and did not order one for himself. I drank the water, and he also had a 37.5 cl bottle of Reuilly. We received our chocolate morsels, packaged "to-go" for later at the end as we do when we're too full to enjoy them there. We paid the bill and said our goodbyes to Nathalie and assistant and hope to return soon on a future visit to Paris. Thanks again for a delicious meal, a welcoming atmosphere, and treating us a friends!

My husband and I were visiting from Kansas and I picked this restaurant based on it’s excellent reviews. This was our first truly French dinner and it was amazing. Our experience at Chez Gabrielle and our meal exceeded our expectations. We had a reservation at 8 and were pleasantly met by Natalie, who we later learned owns the restaurant with her chef husband. We started with the pumpkin soup which was served by Frédéric. He was a delightful young man that provided us with excellent service and great conversation. My husband had the farm chicken and I had the scallops with mushrooms and cream sauce followed by my chocolate soufflé and my husband’s roast cognac peach with lemon creme brûlée for dessert. From start to finish the food was lovely and amazing. We leave Paris tomorrow for the Loire Valley, but if we’d have been in Paris another night, we would have returned. Thank you to the staff of Chez Gabrielle for making our visit so delicious and memorable.

A first class restaurant in a little street not far from the Arc de Triomphe. Booking definitely advisable because it’s only a little restaurant but the food is incredible. A warm welcome on arrival was much appreciated, and then two salmon croustini arrived, along with the menus, and it was really difficult to know what to choose. I opted for the 3-course set menu of foie gras, followed by scallops with mushrooms and a Noilly Prat creamy sauce (speciality of the house), and then shared the dessert of poached peach and crème brûlée with my husband, who’d gone for sea bass ceviche followed by veal kidneys with dauphinois potatoes. The food was beautifully presented and was completely delicious. A real treat. The wine list was excellent and we enjoyed half a bottle of excellent white, and a glass of red, for a total of 158 euros, which for a meal of such quality, in this very central location in Paris, seemed like fantastic value for money. We will definitely go again when we’re next in Paris, and I highly recommend it to others. Thank you - it was a superb and very enjoyable experience.

When you return for over 45 years to the same restaurant, even after the owners have changed, then there is only one explanation:excellent food at a reasonable price. All this in combination with great service is really all what you expect as a guest. Great place, great food!

Returned to this fabulous restaurant we visited 10 years ago and found it absolutely lived up to everything we remembered. Wonderful food, attentive service and lovely ambience plus great location. I had a chilled asparagus soup which I was ready to lick the bowl clean (and did so with the help of some bread). A lovely piece of fish was followed by an incredible poached peach along with lemon crème brûlée. Others in my party thoroughly enjoyed everything they ordered as well. I hope to return sooner than another ten years!!!!

We went for lunch based on reviews and the owner was nice enough to get us a table. Unfortunately the beef entree I ordered medium came out blood red and was extremely chewy. When the waiter came to clean the plates and saw more than half the dish wasn’t eaten, nothing was said or done. There are better places to visit for lunch.

We were recommended this local restaurant by our hotel Balmoral and we were not disappointed. The menu was fine dining French cuisine. We had frois gras and escargot. Very tasty and beautifully presented. This was followed by scallops with a noilly prat sauce and veal kidneys in an Armagnac sauce. Delicious. For dessert there was a poached pear and crème brûlée and an orange sorbet. The service was attentive and very helpful. We would highly recommend this accomplished restaurant.

Definitely a must for food connoiseurs ! Everything from service to food was exquisite. We had the escargot and pumpkin soup for starters, the chicken with potatoes and seabass with figs and honey for mains and the creme brulee with poached peach for dessert. Excellent !

Wonderful lunch with colleagues in this small and pretty restaurant just off Av. de Wagram. It was so good that I had to write a review so I can find it again myself next time I am in the area! I had a delicious main course of sea bass on black rice risotto, and a chocolate soufflé that was just barely cooked, and quite simply stunning. The best meal I have had in years, no exaggeration.

Small restaurant serving good French food. It fills up quickly so make reservations online before you visit Paris. The website only allows reservations about 2-3 weeks before the requested date. You will need to reply to the confirmation email the date of your reservation. The wait staff consists of 2 people so be patient. You receive a small complimentary appetizer. The only thing that is disconcerting are 2 signs in the restaurant that use profanity in English. We visit this restaurant every time that we are in Paris since 2015. We are such creatures of habit that we have this same entree. The steak could be more tender but the potatoes and dessert are amazing. I will come back again.

This is a charming restaurant not far from the Arc de Triumph. The food is fabulous and the service is just right. I was at two minds about leaving a review because I do not want so many people to visit that I can never get another reservation! We just loved it and want everyone else to enjoy it. We had Champagne, Starters, including escargot and Fois Gras, Saint Jaques (scallops) and Sea Bass and an amazing Crème Brûlée with Peach poached in Cognac. We also had a lovely bottle of Chablis. It was all fabulous and we did not feel we had overeaten. A really fabulous little restaurant!

I first ate at this fantastic restaurant in 1985 with my mother. It was a spectacular restaurant then and, obviously, a very memorable experience. Well, last night was the same if nit better. I started off with a kir royal that was made to perfection. The marinated zucchini and mozzarella was a lovely gesture from the kitchen. I ordered the prix faire menu, such an experience and a deal. It started with the foie gras, followed by the scallops, and finished with the baked pear and crème brûlée. I also had a lovely chat with the owner since 2000. She graciously explained the upgrades they had done and described a gorgeous original bar that she hopes to one day restore. Although I have been back to Paris on numerous ocasiones, this, unfortunately, was my first time back in 37 years. I certainly promise I will not wait that long again to enjoy such a lovely experience.

I had the dinner set menu comprising foie gras, St Jacques and crème brulée. The raisin sauce paired extremely well with the well seared foie gras - I can still remember the flavour. Likewise the cream sauce with the seared St Jacques. The pleasant surprise was the crème brulée which paired superbly with the roasted peach. Certainly a gem of a restaurant. Small dining area, so reservations highly recommended.

This little gem is still as good as it was many, many years ago when I first discovered it quite by mistake. The coquille st jacques is always good but then it's hard to get a bad meal no matter what you order. I always try to return on my trips to Paris and it never disappoints. About 75 Euro pp with 2 bottles of wine and lots of food.
