I ate here with a friend based on the TA recommendation, as well as various other reviews of oysters in Paris. The restaurant only sells oysters and only oysters from a single location in Brittany at that. However, they were delectable and fresh. We ended up eating three dozen and were well satisfied. Be prepared to wait, though. THis is... More

I love eating oysters, and that is what you do here. Shrimp was quite good as well. The line was worth it.

Regis opens for dinner at 18:30, and you should be in line by 18:10. There is a small dining area, seating 24 max, which was full by 18:30pm. One gentleman stood at the counter to eat his oysters! My husband is the oyster fan, not me, and he said his oysters were wonderful, especially the ones that tasted a bit... More

If you love oysters that's the place to go! they mainly serve oysters with a side of bread and butter, but if you are ready to dine with a plate of this gorgeous seafood go there and you won't be disappointed! drawbacks: the service could be improved, a warmer welcome has never harmed anybody. There are way too many tables... More

Huitrerie Regis is a restaurant that offers few seafood options, as well as oysters, of course. But in reality, it is worth to face queues (the restaurant is very small and they do not work with reservations) to taste the oysters of Marennes d'Oleron (Fines de Claires, Spéciales de Claires, Pousses en Claires and Belons, ) accompanied by some of... Plain white minimalist decor made a good first impression and projected a squeaky clean approach for oysters. Cosy seating, without much privacy though. The butter which came with a few ordinary slices of a brown loaf set the right scene for a sumptuous feast of oysters. Not a huge selection but all were extremely fresh. Kept reordering rounds of skilfully... More

We stumbled across this place a few years back and it has become a staple for our Paris trips ever since. There are only a handful of tables, maybe the entire place seats 20 people at a time. They offer just two or three types of oysters, a platter that can include some shrimp, a cold fish terrine or fois... More

This restaurant is so tasteful and so intelligently and simply organized. The food is delicious, the service is welcoming but tactful. We are shy and it was our first night in Paris so we felt particularly shy with our grade-school French. But they were welcoming and gave us an excellent table and made us feel at home. The way they... More

Reasonably priced, super fresh oysters. It's a cute little place, but suggest to go there early to avoid the lengthy queue.
