We where looking for a place to have breakfast. This bistro was conveniently located around the corner of our hotel (Hôtel de la Loire) and served a nice French petit dejeuner. They do an English one as well, but hey... You're in France stupid ;-) All in all fair place to have a bite.

Ate at this restaurant/bar as it was close to our hotel. Our waiter was very polite, we were shown to our seat straight away. Dinner was nice, dessert was great. Not very expensive but not cheap either, would recommend

Had dinner once in this bar / restaurant cos it's close to the hotel i stayed. Tried their steak but it was so so, may be others are better. Price is quite reasonable but overall can't say it's good. An ok place to try.

We came here for a drink my husband and I and we thought it was lovely. They gave us olives to snack on and the bar staff were really friendly. They included us in jokes trying to tell me in English and the locals who drank there were really nice too. We found in some places in Paris tourists aren't... More

A lovely establishment with an appetising aroma when you walk in. Their confit of duck with roasted potatoes in garlic was delicious but I felt like It needed some veg. The manager greeted us in a pleasant way and the surroundings were very relaxing after a long day of travel. I would recommend this place to any food lover.

The salads looked good, especially after we got our steak, which was cooked more or less as asked, but rather too thin and far too grisly. Service was fine.

I certainly can't recommend this restaurant. I ordered a meal the waiter told me was ham. When he brought it I found it was actually a sausage shaped black pudding on its own on a plate with just a wire basket of french fries with it. I complained he had told me it was ham so he exchanged the black... More

Called in for lunch one day and really wished I hadn't bothered! The service was very slow and the waiters unfriendly, the food was nothing to shout about; the only good thing was that the beer was cold!

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
