We were there for Dinner. The food was nice and the staff was friendly. Traffic is a bit loud if you sit outside.

Had a great dinner here with fresh oysters and a Dover sole as well as a lovely side of mashed potatoes Outside seating is great for having a cigar with a nice view of the Trocedro. Great service - great food - great setting.

The food itself was lovely, I enjoyed every bite and loved the great taste. The decor of the restaurant was beautiful. I gave this a terrible review because of the check. I know that this is in part my fault and I take responsibility for that. When it came time to check out, I had been out all day and... More

Two couples. Vodka Martini was poor (in a wine glass filled with ice and slices of lime). Alias [red wine] was fine. Foie gras de canard, pain bio grillé, suffisant pour deux was average. Pizza, jambon de Parme et roquette was a good size for one person with plenty of topping but taste was average. Monte Cristo sandwich was average.... More

We joined our Parisian friends at Le Coq for an early dinner. Reservations (for the early time) were easy to get on a Friday night and we enjoyed our experience. The decor is unique and the food was very good! I had filet of fish, recommended by our waiter, wrapped in banana leaves. It was amazing! The desserts were good... More

We had lunch on the terrasse: we hadn't booked but got a table as we were there early. We ordered a Cesar salad, a pasta and a spicy tuna and avocado: food was good and good size portions. I found the prices high and service pretty bad (slow, difficult to get attention, not very welcoming). An ok place to go... More

This is one of my favourite hangouts in the 16th arrondissent/ part of Paris. A resto / cafe all day dining that is part of the coste establishments. It's great for people watching and many chic locals hang out there.

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
