When you first walk in you’ll be underwhelmed. The restaurant is small and the seating can only be described as intimate. Don’t be put off though . The service is very friendly . The food is gorgeous, my steak (350g) was not only sizable but also delicious, the mash side was amazing . My partners beef stew with risotto rice was equally delightful. I had a starter (lobster bisque) , and my partner had a desert all of which was excellent. This was my second visit to Le Hide as we came here last time we were in Paris and we will come again next time. The prices are very reasonable for this standard of food. Make sure you book , this is a very popular (for good reason) Restaurent. I can’t fault it, I’ve paid more both in UK and Paris and had food not as good .

Le hide is a small restaurant with big ambitions. You really need to make a reservation as space is limited. The food is very good. If you like foie gras then you have to order theirs, it's well worth the €7 supplement. The crayfish raviolli is also delicious. The 3 course menu is super value and the wine list has a good selection at very fair prices. My wife and I ate here the last time we were in Paris (8 years ago) and were excited to revisit , this time with friends, but a little concerned that it wouldn't live up to our memories. Le Hide not only lived up to our expectations but exceeded them. So glad we came back!

The restaurant is very small, but our group of 5 was accommodated nicely. The atmosphere is cozy but lively, and the service is friendly and attentive. The menu selections are all familiar-sounding dishes: escargots, lobster bisque, veal, etc, but there’s nothing ordinary about them! They’re beautifully prepared and taste like nothing you’ve ever had before! There are a million hidden “gems” in Paris, and I’m so happy we found this one!

Huge disappointment! And read some good reviews of this restaurant which was near our hotel so we worked hard to get a reservation. My wife is a steak lover and so we paid a premium for the steak which is €40 it came it was over cooked and a very tough pork cut of meat. When we brought this to the attention of the chef he was completely different and from that point on we were treated very rudely needless to say I wish I could give this restaurant zero stars

We had high expectations for this restaurant, after it was recommended by my girlfriend's friend. I found the experience to be underwhelming, except the chocolate millefeuille which was really yummy. Huge plus: it's really good value for money as the 3 course set was just priced at 34€. Really cheap for the area.

It was the third time I had the pleasure to visit this restaurant. The restaurant is small so booking a table in advance is recommended. Food and service was excellent as before, we enjoyed a very nice evening. If you look for good French food with special touch this is a place to go.

We were having a touristy weekend in Paris and were looking for a reasonably priced restaurant doing French food and found le hide online. It’s such an amazing little restaurant and we were given a table for 2 in the window, which was so amazing. The 2 waitresses serving us were amazing, very attentive, always topping drinks up and willing to put up with awful attempts at French and guide us in English! The Crayfish starter was so tasty and the foie gras terrine was perfect. The fillet steak was cooked spot on and the duck main course was just flavourful bite after flavourful bite, we didn’t want it to end! For €83 we couldn’t have asked for much more and next time we visit Paris we will certainly be back!

We had a very disappointing experience at Le Hide. We arrived on time and had to wait about 15 minutes for a table to be ready which is no big deal - however the service was very slow despite our requests and when the food finally came out my daughters duck was so tough with ligaments that she was unable to cut through most of it with a steak knife. When I tired of seeing her struggle I signaled the waiter who brought another knife and proceeded to tell her to cut it ‘harder madame’. I had to highlight to him that the real problem was the meat, it was so tough it was impossible. We asked for it to be taken away and another dish was offered to which we declined. When paying the bill they said we had to pay for the dish as she’d already eaten some of it which makes me assume if we’d ordered a replacement we would have to pay for that too. A very disappointing experience for such high reviews.

Myself and my partner booked this restaurant for a French cuisine for a birthday meal. When we arrived we felt out of place as there was no warm welcome or attention given to us. After being seated we patiently waited for a waitress to take our order, after waiting 25 minutes our drinks order was taken. The restaurant was not even busy! We then ordered starters and main course, after 1hr 15mins our empty starter plates where still sat in front of us. The people next to us arrive at the same time as us and had eaten their starters and main course and even paid the bill. We asked for the bill and left after eating our starter. Terrible Service!! Try a different restaurant for French cuisine!

Two things stood out when we went for dinner there. The very accomodating staffs who make us felt welcome, and the delicious food that came out of the kitchen. Will visit again when we are in Paris again. Book ahead as this is a very popular place, a testament to how good they are.

While wandering the streets around the Place de l'étoile, I was drawn in to this cozy restaurnat by the mouth-watering menu displayed by the door. The restaurant was full and I was alone, but this turned out to be a plus... I sat at the small bar sipping a glass of very nice Sauvignon Blanc until a table was available and was able to observe most of the dishes proposed on the menu as they passed by from the kitchen, with the staff patiently answering my questions about their preperation. I settled on the pan-fried foie gras as a stater, and as advertised, it was one of the best I've ever had, unexpectedly served on a bed of deliciously seasoned green beans. Then a perfect fork-tender Boeuf bourgignon, whose beautiful plating clearly reflected the Chef's Japanese heritage. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, with a regular smile and kind word for the solo diner... All in all, a memorable experience.

My family and I had the pleasure of eating here very recently. The menu was amazing and my boys 12 and 9 found meals that they loved as well. It's hard traveling to a different country and trying to figure out what food your kids will actually eat. The service was amazing and our waitress was very kind and tended to all of our needs throughout the meal. It is a smaller restaurant so the earlier you go the better. Le Hide is a must when visiting Paris and it's located in such a great neighborhood.

What an absolute gem of a restaurant and I can only sum this up by saying it was Michelin quality food at an affordable price. The food was simply divine and for €45 you get three courses. Superb service. The chef is an absolute diamond. You will not be disappointed. Just need to ring them to book and their English is great.

I could not find any fault with this restaurant. It is not cheep but worth the money. The food is excellent and the staff is very pleasant not only speak food English but also was very helpful advising what I can and cannot eat as I am pregnant and some of their produce is not pasteurised. Open cray fish ravioli is an amazing well balanced starter as is the rabbit liver my husband loved. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the veal with a mustard type sauce and the duck was perfectly cooked with a beautiful sauce. The mash bought to share was also lovely. Bread was topped up Frequently and generously. The meringue was so beautifully cooked and tho a simple to look at dish the flavours are so honest and perfect.
