I was greeted by a man who was as friendly as could be. He handed me off to another, even friendlier man. The trend continued when I met my waiter. There's no shortage of hospitality here. I ordered the drink of the day and it was great, full of fresh strawberry and vodka. My dinner was delicious. I hung around... More

This is a place where you can have a very decent lunch from noon until 22:30. Waiters are friendly, menu is diversified, you can have fish, meat or just salad and sandwich. Room is nice, pretty big, well located in rue de Rennes. Good address to try.

Trait d Union is an excellent café. Good and happy staff. We had excellent breakfasts here, just a short walk from the Holiday Inn. Great eggs, bacon, fresh buttery croissants, and good coffee

They have a nice happy hour selection between 7-9pm. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast. The food was good but nothing too exceptional.

With each visit I have walked past this place many times and finally I walked in. For an Australian with limited French the staff are very friendly and accommodating happily switching between French and English when my French runs dry. The place is cosy, the service is quick and the food and wine is great. The entrecôte is XXL so... More

Me and my boyfriend visited this place tonight and food was very nice. We both had roast chicken and it was lovely. Roast potatoes were nicely seasoned and went well with the chicken. It was too much food for me so unfortunately couldn't finish it. I would go there again but not this time we are in paris. We would... More

We stayed at the Hotel Aramis next door, and we ate and drank here on a few occasions. At all times, the staff were helpful and friendly, and advised on what was in certain dishes when we weren't quite sure what was in them. We ate breakfast there on Saturday morning. We would have done so again on Sunday, but... More

My husband and I visited Paris, France for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. This cafe was right by our hotel. We just loved it! Bruno the waiter was just great remembered us, would wave to us as we went by. Marie the owner would make us special desserts at night. She always greeted us and we got a hug when we... More

I did not have much time for lunch and I wanted to avoid the usual Parisian sandwich. And this was a good catch: good food, friendly staff and quick service.

Neighbourhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
