Wanted to visit Vincennes Hippodrome to see a trotting race meeting and chose to dine at Le Sulky to have lunch, Made a booking on line from Australia and everything was ready when I arrived. I had a table overlooking the track and as well as having lunch I was able to sit there all afternoon and enjoy watching the... More

Everytime I visit the Vincennes racetrack I make sure to dine at Le Sulky as this is the best way to watch the races. Although it is a bit expensive considering the food served but one must take into consideration the great location overlooking the racetrack

Le Sulky is opened for lunch and dinner depending on the horse racing calendar. Le Sulky restaurant at Paris’ Hippodrome de Vincennes is a smart, refined establishment with panoramic views of all the trotting action – and exciting stuff it is, too. This pretty, modern restaurant offers traditional French cuisine with dishes like foie gras, roast fillet of duckling, and an excellent wine list to accompany them. But don’t let the pleasures of the table distract you from the thrilling spectacle outside the soaring plate glass windows. Take your time to evaluate the field and place your bets as the afternoon or evening unfolds. Open for lunch and dinner (for the famous Nocturnes events), Le Sulky is a superb spot for great meal out with friends or family.
