The food here is delicious, and the service is gracious and warm. However, this is not your standard Parisian bistro filled with people speaking French. This is a tourist restaurant. If you are English speaking and want to go someplace comfortable, go here. The food...More

A small restaurant aside from the touristic area. Don’t miss the tomates roulées, la joue de bœuf... A pleasure!

We chose this restaurant for our last night in Paris, because of the reviews and its proximity to our Airbnb apt on Ile Saint-Louis. It was a fantastic choice. The food was delicious and the service was attentive, but relaxed. The cassolette of pumpkin was...More

After a Movie tour (with Set in Paris) we ask our guide Fabrice where to eat & he recommend us without hesitation La Tournebièvre. A great restaurant, brillant food, great service and amazing food (Paté Pantin et Confit de Canard)!!! The Chef, Leaticia (our waitress)...More

Food was good, nothing was WOW. Escargot was served as a soup, while tasty broth, the escargot was very chewy. Duck Condit, again good, not WOW. Dessert was probably the weakest with a bizarre rendition of Tart Tartin and a weak lava cake served plain,...More

As the bustling center of entertainment for the
residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon
never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional
cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets
surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide
eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just
next door and the prototypical terraced French
brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this

On the banks of the Seine, moments from Paris' Ile de la Cite and within easy reach of Paris' most celebrated landmarks is Le Tournebièvre restaurant . The first thing that will undoubtedly strike you about the restaurant (formerly Le Rencard Gourmand) is the breathtaking view across the river. But quite apart from the fairytale setting, Le Tournebièvre is special in its own right. Its classic French bistro cuisine is hugely popular with locals so it provides a real Parisian experience, quite apart from the usual tourist-version of Parisian dining. The simple bistro interior is accompanied, in the summer months, with pavement dining under a wide, shady awning. The traditional French menu is created using fine, seasonal ingredients, with a wide choice for all tastes. And, sacre bleu, the service at Le Tournebièvre is both professional and genuinely friendly.
