Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stumbled upon this place trying to away from the touristy areas and ended up having our favorite meal in Paris! Food was excellent, service was amazing and price was very reasonable for the location and quality of food! Would highly recommend and will definitely...be back next time we are in Paris!More

This tiny bistro has a lot going for it, but those 100 ml carafes of house wine for 21 euros are a selling point! Very good food and a really nice staff make this an easy go-to place in the Marais.

Zerestoo is a small bistro with a big heart. Service is good-it's like being at your favorite aunt or uncle's place. The food that comes out of their tiny kitchen is comforting and a good value. It's in a gayborhood, so it's filled with gay...vibe which I enjoyed.More

We have eaten dinner at this tiny Marais restaurant at least twice every time we visit Paris. It is adjacent to a gay bar and they share clientele. We are an older straight couple and are warmly welcomed always. The food is simply fantastic and...the prices are a bargain. They focus on meat and seafood and their soups are wonderful. So are the desserts. When we visit Paris we have two restaurants we return to, and otherwise try new places. For inventive and delicious fare at low prices, Zerestoo can’t be beat.More

Went with 4 friends. Friendly service, moderate prices and great food. Several of us got magret de canard and all liked it.

I visited Zerestoo for dinner with 3 friends on a Wednesday night. They had a very affordable 3 course menu for €25. You still had the option to select a large amount of options for each course. The food was not American size portions but...I was very satisfied and full at the end. It was real home cooking served with a beautiful Bordeaux. If you want to experience French food at a great price try this place out.More

Tucked away on a quiet street, you will discover this treasure in the Marais. They are one of the most consistently fine dining establishments with excellent cuisine. All of the courses are creatively prepared, sumptuous, delicious, fresh and colorful. The place is small, intimate, but...the servers exhude warmth and charm. The artichoke with crab was perfectly prepared and it looks like a sunflower or edible art. You won’t be disappointed with the salmon and vegetables. On the night we dined here my partner enjoyed a brochette of beef with a pepper sauce. Too many new restaurants are opening in this area, we are happy we can always rely on Ze Restoo.More

I stumbled upon this restaurant, as it was down the street from the apartment where I was staying, and I am so glad that I did. The food was delicious and affordable (I had the pork special, red wine, and creme brulee), and the staff...was very friendly. The atmosphere was great when I went on a Saturday night, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I ended up coming back for dessert on my last night in Paris, and hope to return again on a future trip.More

Stumbled on this bijou restaurant on a wander round Le Marais. It was closed at the time but we enquired at the bar next door and were immediately ushered into the restaurant and were able to make a booking for that evening. The staff were...very friendly but didn't speak much english. Our schoolboy french helped a little and they were very willing to try to communicate. We ended up having a lovely meal and a very reasonable price. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place.More

We are staying at a charming apartment in le Marais and this place is a few steps from our back door. Pure good luck! Attentive, friendly service, food was excellent and beautifully presented. Good wine. Good value. We will go back for our last dinner...in Paris. I think they are not open for lunch, only dinner.More

We found this restaurants as wanted to find a nice small french restaurants. We went there on a Saturday night and the place was full. So we were told to go next door to the gay pub where we can have a table there and...the same food. We did and we weren't disappointed. The food was amazing. I had the terrine starter, lamb as my main course. Good service, excellent food and good price. Highly recommended.More

Though on our most recent trip we found a close competitor for Zerestoo as our top Paris restaurant, this place still wins the day. For value, inventiveness, service, and fine cuisine, this tiny eatery can't be beat. We discovered it in 2013, and have returned...faithfully on our two subsequent trips. They do a great job with everything--pork, lamb, salmon, cod, sausage. Lots of people order the beef, but we get plenty of that at home. There is a printed menu as well as specials which are featured on a blackboard--we have ordered from both menus and they are equally good. There is a raspberry mousse dessert to die for. The prices can't be beat--we often get out of there for 60 euros for dinner for two, including 50cl of the house wine! Where else can you find that in Paris?More

This affordable, tiny bistrot-style restaurant in the Marais was a great find. There is a set menu with a fairly small range of choices at a reasonable price - particularly for Paris. The menu tends to feature innovative twists on classic dishes, some of which...work better than others. My starter of "Tartare de Saumon" mixed with bananas was interesting, but not the greatest taste combination. Overall the cooking was highly competent, with the usual Paris emphasis on meat. Being in the Marais, the venue is popular with gay couples and small parties. There is no English menu, but the friendly and helpful service was conducted in useful Franglais. The Saturday night we went it was empty at 19:30, half full at 20:30 and packed by 21:30.More

We were trying to go to the highly recommended Italian a couple of shops down but it was full. This restaurant looked interesting. The staff can speak basic English and the menu is translated. The specials are not though but you can work it out....A really great French meal was had. I encourage you to try it. It's really great and a more intimate atmosphere than the restaurant we were trying to go to.More
