The four noisy tables of 25 American students finally left. The avuncular owner seemed as grateful as we were. He offered us a nice kir while we waited. Although this was a “Greek” restaurant, the menu and execution were very well-done French. Our starters were an aubergine salad and a mixed salad with burrata. We enjoyed an excellent magret de canard à point and a perfect filet de boeuf à la sauce moutarde. Perfect scalloped potatoes and haricôts verts. Well-priced house wines. No room, alas, for dessert but we saw pastries flying from the kitchen. The owner and his woman-in-charge run a Greek version of a Parisian restaurant. The owner’s adult son was at the next table and regulars were greeted and thanked. The owner kept checking back that we were enjoying our meal! Most assuredly. Despite the heavy competition from restaurants along Rue Mouffetard serving every cuisine, the food was mainly French, beautifully prepared and presented. A cowboy-hatted piano player played and crooned Broadway tunes. A bow-tied gentleman in a bowler hat danced and sang along. Dinner and the theater, two minutes from our hotel.

When you walk along Rue Mouffetard you never know which restaurant you will come across. There are many tourist traps that make you hesitate!! Well go for it, the boss is very friendly, he knows his dishes. We had tapas with very generous portions: flambéed shrimp, mini burgers, eggplant caviar... a treat. We were even able to taste the taramasalata offered by the boss, which I confirm was delicious! Very pleasant musical atmosphere.

We wanted to try French food served in the Formule model, that is, starter, main course and dessert. In the Latin Quarter region. We would imagine it to be cheaper, and that is what happened. We ordered steak and starter, with dessert the crème brûlée. It was a cool experience to understand how they present food.

Little interest! The establishment is a Greek tavern, not a tea room. If the dishes are classic, they are rather disappointing. The Greek salad doesn't have much flavor, and the fried squid gets lost in too many peppers. Price a little expensive for the quality, regular customers and average service. Not the best Greek restaurant in Paris!

Right day menu, right food too. but watch out, if you order wine it's 15 euros for each jug, small and that they stuff themselves, plus hot. They do not warn you that wine does not enter the menu, we ordered a little more, we just had another glass and we were charged 15 euros more. Feo.

On the occasion of an outing with friends, on August 31, we decided to test this restaurant a bit random, well it was a very nice surprise, as well as a pleasant experience. Very good atmosphere, with piano music. We were totally captivated by Greek tapas and culinary specialties. The dishes are nicely presented. The food is quality and tasty. Pattern very welcoming and warm. When the service is top. The service is fast, the waiters are smiling, competent, and they know their map very well. They are attentive and care for their guests. I highly recommend!

Unfortunately, your waitress interrupted a delightful evening, we ate and went and we wanted to see outside and enjoy and drink and dessert. But you don't tell us our cocktails Order your food right away because of the waitress who says this is a restaurant where you can't sit like this and who is quite rude about being a tourist, we've even gotten rid of our orders, this is officially fired!! We would already offer siparis. Unexpected rude from a Greek restaurant.

Our best find in the Latin quarter. Great old restaurant in the liveliest street. Fantastic tapas, every dish fresh, delicious and prompt. The Greek owner is a hoot and the waitresses are warm and welcoming. Very reasonably priced and the music is great. All in all it’s an easy place to settle in. Highly recommend.

Well worth a visit. The rue is crowded with restaurants so choosing can be a real headache. Despite the Happy Hour offer this place offers some delicious food. The starters were tasty & well seasoned. The main course of scallops was exquisite & generous and the home made profiteroles were great. The place doesn’t look exceptional but the food is. Best of all the quality is constant as I have eaten here for the last 4 years.

Superb cuisine, partly Cretan, in a very beautiful setting. Michel, the boss, is fantastic, very warm and welcoming. I regularly return to this restaurant for the quality of the dishes and the always pleasant atmosphere. There is also often live music, a singer or singer on the piano. A beautiful address to discover on the road to Crete.

This restaurant was one of our favorite finds during our Paris trip. The ambience was wonderful - especially with the Christmas decorations. The staff was incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. We ordered 4 tapas dishes to share and they were all yummy. It was the perfect spot for a casual dinner on a rainy evening.

The reception on arrival is friendly and welcoming, the dishes are well prepared. A real treat. A big downside, however, for the future. Barely finished the coffee when the bill was already presented without us asking. A way of making us understand that we had to quickly clear out to make room for the next ones. In substance we can understand but the form needs to be completely revised. Moreover, there is a clear contrast between arrival and departure. No one there to say goodbye and we're too busy taking care of new customers! Too bad without that it was perfect. As for the musicians who come frankly, we could do without them!

Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
