This restaurant has place to give you the opportunity to celebrate a birthday or a long table of friends. Starters are quite good, with all typical stuff from the extreme oriental regions as the Nam or the vapour cooked jiaozi. You can find some duck based dishes, which is quite rare in the kosher cuisine. Beef and poultry with Thai... More

Where to begin? I will try to be polite. Friends who live in Paris recommended this Asian restaurant, which is part Chinese, part Thai ( and was once part Japanese too). We love good Chinese food in the San Francisco area and realize it's not completely authentic, since it caters to American tastes. Well, This place was authentically bad! It... More

the portions were very small. While French restaurants frequently serve small portions, these were small even for France. The chicken dish I had was very good with good quality chicken and well seasoned. The noodle dish likewise was very good but my wife and I left hungry at lunchtime. I guess each of us could have ordered another dish but... More

When a Parisian friend who keeps kosher suggested this restaurant as an alternative to the usual kosher deli where we meet, I decided to check it out on Tripadvisor. Reading the list of terrible reviews, I decided that unless the previous reviews were written by Hamas, we were in for a truly dreadful meal. Much to my surprise, we had... More

I took a chance with the Lotus, and as we know, not all chances pay off. The service at the restaurant was obviously reserved for their regular clientele, who were treated very well, but for an English speaking random customer like myself, it was lukewarm at best. Although it was very clear from the get-go that I did not speak... More

We were looking for a nice kosher restaurant within walking distance of our Marais hotel and we chose this one, as we're fans of Chinese food. We ate in about 10 restaurants during our stay and this one ranks the lowest. The food was just ok, the portions were on the small side, the service was lacking (to say the... More

As we spend a few days in Paris we definitely look for a different kosher restaurant and found this place on [--] Unfortunately it turned out to be a disaster in every aspect, poor service, the worst, I repeat the worst food we have ever come across, greasy and no vegetables so all in all we cannot recommend this place.

We visited this restaurant in October 2008. It was around the corner from our hotel - Citadine Bastille. We order four dishes for the two of us to share. The food was very fresh and very delicious. The portions were very small compared to Canadian plates. The four dishes were just enough for us. A couple that we met stated... More
