I know there are a few Eric Kayser shops. We were at the one located at 29 Rue La Boétie, 75008 Paris, France. Very nice shop. Friendly staff. The selection was very nice. We had our coffee and pastry there every morning. You can't go wrong with this establishment.

Our hotel was just a block away from this place, so we decided one morning to come here for breakfast. I was disappointed that they did not offer hot food, like your usual eggs or crepes, so we just ordered the usual croissants and cafe creme (latte). We saw their pastries looking good so we decided to add a macaroon... More

Renowned for a perfectly shaped baguette and it was :) The coffee was even Gooood! I had the baguette when I came back from Paris at home and it was the best combination with the butter I brought from Paris. The price was just Right 💚. Miss the texture and the soury Taste. 👍🏻

You can get a fresh, hot, spectacular baguette morning to evening. Delicious and perfectly chewy with just the right amount of crunch on the outside.

So many delicious breads and pastries here! In the morning, there is a small deli area where you can enjoy petit dejeuner and the. Take a baguette or salad 'to go' for lunch. My daughter and I purchase baguettes here several times and enjoyed them with delicious cheese. I miss the bread already!

We have visited randomly this place for a breakfast and came back there for a few times just to eat so good patisserie and boulangerie. Honestly the prices are moderate. Especially they have good offer: caffè with croissant for 2.2 € apx. The most expensive was citron cake for 3.5 €. But it's a really good quality and taste. Also... More

The bread was out of this world! We had white chocolate, fig, olive, and just plain baguettes. It was all good! I filled up on bread so I did not try any if the desserts. Try this place!

I always venture to Eric Kayser for the baguettes, the whole grain breads, and one or two of the vast assortment of sweets. Irrespective of where I am staying in Paris, I usually visit the branch on Rue Monge, not least because of other food attractions nearby (Maubert-Mutualite outdoor market, Laurent Dubois' fine cheese shop, and an excellent fresh fish... Visited this bakery which was just around the corner from the hotel we were staying at. They serve simply the best pastries and desserts you could imagine!!! We were absolutely amazed every thing we tried was perfect: Croissants, Quiche, Tarts and the pièce de résistance their creme brûlée!!! The prices were quite reasonable as well! Looking forward to visiting again... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
