It was my first time in Paris and I was definitely looking forward to taste some Parisian food, this restaurant , did not disappoint.. my aunt and I had our dinner here , a 3 course meal with an affordable price. The foire gras was amazing! Simply delightful.. ambience was nice and cozy..would highly recommend this restaurant!

A nicely decorated restaurant tucked away from the main Street, this place specializes in duck based French cuisine. As a duck lover myself, I have usually only had them prepared in Asian style. We tried a few different dishes, taking advantage of the restaurant's well priced lunch combos. All duck meat were smoked and well flavored. We got the duck... More

This is a beautiful little restaurant, with friendly staff, serving excellent food. We both had foie gras du canard to begin, which was wonderfully presented, tasted brilliant, and was ideally sized. For main, we both ate the timeless, Confit du Canard. The duck fell off the bone with ease and tasted just as hearty and tender as one would hope.... More

Had a nice meal with my mum as it was right around the corner from the hotel. As the name suggests, the menu is mostly duck based and it is a tiny restaurant. I can advise you to book a table in advance like we did, day before. I had the goat cheese starter (delicious!) and the aiguillettes de canard... More

Cosy cafe style restaurant with good food. Some may feel a little cramped, as tables very close together, cheek by jowl. Menu in several languages, so no need to translate from French. Good food but not fine dining. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Only French wine available, the bottle we selected was good but there was no help on... More

Love this place. There were only about 2 things on the menu with no duck in it. Smoked duck (like bacon), duck sausage and just duck. Had the cassoulet which was just wonderful. Definitely go here if you like duck

I was very intrigued about a place that serves basically only duck. I must say, it was one of the real good meals we had in Paris this trip. They also have some excellent French white wines, the Sancerre was absolutely fantastic, I had the escargot for first course and the duck cassoulet as the main. I was very impressed... More

We were looking for somewhere good to eat in Montmartre before the 11pm showing at the Moulin Rouge and stumbled across this place. We were so glad we found it. It was empty when we arrived and was given a table for about 1h and 40 mins. Numerous people were turned away during our visit and it was clear the... More

Simple dining restaurant with spectacular food. I had the escargot and duck l'orange, both delicious.

If you're a fan of duck, then this is a must visit. It's a small cozy restaurant in the Montmartre area that is filled with duck-related decorations. I forgot to make a reservation and the restaurant was fully booked but the staff was gracious enough to squeeze my fiancée and I in on a busy Saturday night at 10pm. We... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
