A small and delicious gem of a bistro. The food is very good. The service is very good. The desserts are incredible.

Following a local advice I had dinner on weekday, I choose to have the "Aller-retour de cœur de rumsteak taillé au couteau aux épices" which is basically a seated steak tartare seasoned with exotic spices. The meat was delicious but the sides (fries and lettuce) were poor and unworthy of the €19 price. Service was awkward by someone clearly not... More

We had dinner in this lovely little French restaurant on our second night in Paris. The waiter was funny, attentive and the food was great. My favorite part though was the dessert - a selection of homemade ice cream, which was beyond delicious.

This is a great little bistrot not far from the Montmarte area. The food was fantastic - really flavoursome. Good wines were available by the glass. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and spoke english for me when I was "lost for words". I will never forget the duck with foie gras sauce and the cote de rhone by... More

We came quite late, and ordered a 3 course menu. Everything we had was made with care, love and was really delicious. Our waiter surprised us by speaking really good English, and he was really helpful, and recommended the wine to our food. Prices were more than agreeable also. You will not be disappointed if you go here for dinner.

I went to the Montmartre with a Parisian friend and instead of dining in that area, he insisted that we should go to this particular restaurant. I acquiesced and was glad I did. Didn't look like much from the outside, but inside the atmosphere was quite cosy and obviously local. The food was fantastic and not once did I feel... More

We reserved at the latest time a table for 8. We were already pleased to see how nice and helpful they were to make sure 8 of us can fit! The menu is French fusion, with creole and North African soft accent. The wine selection is nice. We drank nature red wine while ordering our first course. Every meal were... More

We wanted somewhere that serves more authentic French cuisine and Le Perroquet vert did not disappoint. Down a little side street we wondered where we were going but once inside it was a true parisien setting with charming staff and a very tasty menu. There was the standard steak and chips but we went for the more unusual offerings and... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
