This bistro looked so inviting from the outside, and was very cozy inside with great lighting. We couldn't get in for lunch as they were closing, so decided to go back for dinner. The food and drinks were wonderful. If it wasn't for the rude manager (at first we thought he was the owner) I would give it 5 stars... More

Had a fabulous burger and chips here and some lovely wines. The staff are really lovely: smiley and helpful but also multilingual and inquisitive. They will make conversation if you wish. We visited on a cold winter's evening and found everything about this place welcoming. We were tempted to stay all night but had other things to attend to.

Holy cow – nice burgers! Had the pepper burger, was awesome. Great atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff, even though we're still just practicing our French. Try the Tiramisu dessert too, it's delicious!

Very nice place for chilling out and having some good food and wine. Try the tartare, which is super.

I had the citrus salad with shrimp and avocado. It was divine! Best salad I've had in a long, long time. My family also enjoyed their salads and burgers. Our waiter was kind enough to tell us that for dessert we should go around the corner for the best ice cream in Paris.

Tried this because of good ratings in TripAdvisor and it is well worth a visit. Close to L'Hotel de Ville and BHV . Had lunch with plat du jour of chicken and vegetables on skewers with vegetables and a plat of risotto with mushrooms and truffle oil served with Parma ham on top. Both were very good. Service is helpful and... More

This is a good spot for lunch or early dinner. It's casual, it's not particularly high priced. It has excellent burgers. It is frequented by a number of young French people for lunch or drinks after work. Its non-traditional looks gave us pause, but once we ate there, we were hooked. Service is attentive and with a great, open attitude.... More

A restaurant that lacks that special thing; Menu offers a good selection of burgers and some other dishes of Asian inspiration. It's not bad but when in Paris you deserve better.

Nice corner view of the Marais from out table, and the food was spectacular. Try the Tirramasou, if you save room. Service was friendly and accommodating.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
