Pho Tai Review Worth a Detour This small restaurant offers some of the best Vietnamese cuisine in Paris’ Chinatown neighborhood. It is a bit off the beaten track of the main streets. You can find it on a small street off Ave. Choisy. It is worth a detour. My wife and I try to go there when we are living... More

Very very tasty food, especially the "bun" bowls. Staff very friendly, although speak little English they do their best and even showed me how to properly eat the food! Wonderful little gem in the middle of Chinatown and would 100% recommend for a tasty meal.

Being Vietnamese myself it is always hard to find great Vietnamese food out. (Because obviously my mum makes the best - not being biased at all) I would say that the pho is a good standard for a restaurant and the spring rolls were delicious. However it didn't amaze me at all. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it and... More

There are many places to choose from but we really like this place. The bowls of Pho are huge and even the chicken egg rolls Are made in house. Always flavorful and yummy. Very adapting to families and the owner lady we find quite funny.

We keep returning to. Fresh, authentic Vietnamese eats! Prices are very decent for Paris along with friendly service.

We ordered a large pho and a special pho. Large pho has cooked and raw beef (lots of them), while special pho has beef meat balls in addition. The soup is a special and full of flavours! The meat balls are really firm and tasty. Cooked beef with both fat and meat is really tender and melts in the mouth.... More

Found this place on tripadvisor and found it really easy to find! Had dinner with my family of 5, once we stepped in the waitress introduced the menu as it didn't have english. Amazing service and we order 2 mixed meat pho, chicken pho and bun thit nuong. Amazing service and would definitely recommend to anyone that loved vietnamese food... More

We traveled with taxi trough whole Paris, it took us 1,5 hr to get there but it was damn worth it! Outstanding value for money. Excellent honest real asian food served in an familiar ambiance. I will get back as soon as I can. Top.

We dined here for lunch after discovering that our favourite Shawarma place had closed down - we noticed that we were pretty close to 'China Town' so I pulled up trip advisor ... Pho Tai immediately stuck out, as the reviews were all very good, but also because one of the Vietnamese restaurants that I dine at in Calgary has... More

I visit this restaurant this spring and find an amazing food here, big portions (very big) and the taste is delicious. However, the service is awfull. Waitresses doesn't know french so ask for something is very difficult.

Staying in Place d'Italie / Quartier Asiatique

Neighbourhood Profile
Place d'Italie / Quartier Asiatique
Far off the beaten path, this part of Paris is a forgotten gem worth exploring. Avenue d’Ivry houses Europe's largest Chinatown with great Asian supermarkets and shops, and a thrilling atmosphere around Chinese New Year. Place d’Italie impresses onlookers as soon as they set their eyes on it. Not far, around La Butte aux Cailles, the streets suddenly imitate provincial France and you’ll feel like you’ve been transported. The beauty of these streets lies in their surprises around every twist and turn.
