Nice choices from an interesting menu at a central location convenient to most; dishes are well prepared and flavorful.

Three of us arrived on a Thursday evening shortly after they opened at 19h. The restaurant was half- full and we were seated right away. The service was very good, we mostly spoke French (it doesn't take much to get by in a restaurant, especially once you are familiar with French food :) and the waiter did speak English as... More

We rented an apt on Rue Artois, a block away from The Neck of the Girafe (Le Cou de Girafe), and we wandered in one night, not having a clue where to eat in the 8eme. Located on a corner, on a very quiet street, but close enough to the Champs Elysees if you want to get away from the... More

If you want to dine as a local in Paris and experience a balance of the modern city rooted in a variety of French cuisine, this is the place. Make a reservation as is customary in Paris in general. Doors open at 7.30pm. Good wine list of French wines from around the country. Decor reminds me of somewhere in Napa... More

I went to Cou this week with colleagues and found it to be mediocre at best. Food was very average (my beef was like shoe leather!) and service was also average. Frankly, given the choice I'd go elsewhere.

I'll admit it - I read some of the other reviews to help me frame my thoughts, before I wrote mine...I've beento COU twice - once in September of last year, and again a few days ago. It looks really funky - from the moment I saw it and read the menu, I wanted to eat there. When I went... More

We had read previous reviews of the restaurant and were excited. Unfortunately we did not share the same sentiments after our dinner there. YOU MUST HAVE A RESERVATION - NO EXCEPTIONS. (Use your concierge desk to facilitate this.) When we arrived for the first sitting of the evening we were placed in the rear of the restaurant directly next to... More

My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant for my birthday in early January based on other reviews and we were not disappointed. The restaurant was full and it was a Monday night so you should really ring and book in advance or book online like we did. It is easily found, off the tourist track, about a 5 minute walk... More

Staying at Hotel Le A and wanted to eat very close by. Great food, beef features heavily. The staff are pleasant and coped (and were patient!) with my French. Dinner for 2 was €100. Wine list was limited but OK. Only a few complaints which you can decide if are important to you: The food comes very quickly and so... More
