More a kebab than a restaurant! Very high prices for food quality offered! One of the plates meat was uncooked. I' ve been in turkish restaurants and they are different from this! Not to return!

I have been there with Family at diner during the week. Here's some key points to summarize the ranking. Pros (+) Good location Good staff and smiley waiter (which is pretty rare in Paris) Real Turkish dishes Good grilled meat Cons (-) Some dishes were reheat by microwave probably Too many things on the menu (which leads to prepare before... The reviews on here made us imagine that the Cheval de Troie is some incredible restaurant. It's not, it's really just average, especially considering that it's in Paris where you have such a huge variety of options. The place is by no means bad. The food is okay, it's clean (although not very spacious), and the staff are very nice.... More

We found this restaurant whilst walking through the back streets of Bastille, Paris at lunch time. What a great restaurant. Very reasonably priced and the waiter recommended we have a sharing platter for two. Let me tell you - it was so delicious I was seriously contemplating coming back here for dinner on the same night. The lamb especially was... More

the restaurant is small and cosy. We were 5 and welcomed in the kindest way. The man serving us was modest, efficient and gave excellent advice. The Turkish wine, Senfony, is definitely recommended! All of us ordered something different: we were served simultaneously and everybody was enthusiastic about his choice. As desert, I can recommend the sweet pumpkin with cheese.... More

Recommended by a friend of mine, I went there and tried the friday night speciality 'Istim Kebabi' which was lamp stew with vegetables and rice, and it was quite good. Ambiance of the restaurant is also pleasing. Yet, I found the deserts to be slightly expensive considering the pricing of the rest of the menu.

We stopped at the Cheval de Troie only for a dessert and a mint tea. The desserts were really good, also was the tea although it was quite expensive. The waiter was really nice too. The room was nicely decorated.

Went for a late dinner and was very pleaser with this cosy restaurant. From the service, to the main dish and dessert, everything was excellent. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for something a little different. Highly recommend!

We read some good reviews about this place and thought we'd check it out. Upon arriving (without a reservation) we were placed at a table at the back of the restaurant near the kitchen and the owners 2 children. The table was cramped and uncomfortable. We ordered 2 main courses: a braised lamb shank and a lamb kebab. The food... More

We were charmed by this Turkish restaurant between the Bastille Opera and the Gare de Lyon. One of the best options was the simple grilled lamb shish kebab. The service was extravagantly friendly and generous--not something one always expects in Paris.
