At the risk of being boring as I may have already reviewed this restaurant, it is a large rambling place in one of the original old buildings dead center and my heading says it all. The service is delightful and is ideal for families as well. It is also open late on a SUnday and not many are!

We wanted to eat early, as we have young kids, but at 18:00 not many places are open. Luckily we found this place. It's a beautiful medieval style building, well situated in the centre of town. The food is classic French, but includes a great Pizza menu too. It's good quality and value, and the Waitor was really funny, joking... More

Open on a freezing cold Sunday evening, we entered a warm bright cafe style restaurant with blazing fires. Very cosy! Menu had some interesting selections. I chose the mussels to start; a bit bland but not offensive and I didn't have to fight with shells. Main course was rabbit which was very nice with a good sauce. Vegetables a bit... More

We checked this place on trip advisor and the reviews were generally poor but unfortunately we were travelling on a Bank Holiday and a Monday after Christams and New Year, so no much choice, food was edible..would I recommend, no.. Try elsewhere first

How lucky are we, on a street of so many restaurants we chose this one. The food was excellent together with good service and charming atmosphere. All at a very reasonable price, we will retune.

It is in a prime location and has a sort of old world charm but the food is really a disservice to a beautiful city, or country for that matter. I had the Linguine Pecheuer, which was actually spaghetti. Whatever's in the cupboard, I suppose but it seemed like the rest of the dish followed a similar theme. It was... More

It was a cold day, around lunchtime and we needed a warm but not overpriced lunch, and the restaurant looked quite inviting. A real mistake. Our two meals arrived and resembled the worst of school canteen food! I took one of the choices of the day, supposedly a fricassee of pintade, which seemed to be four small chicken drummets (... Inviting atmosphere with wooden ceiling and warm feeling, the place is let down by the food quality overall. Over cooked green beans and a basic choucroute. Reading the comments, I feel a terrible rating is undeserved because it is touristy and not very expensive. However, at 60 euros for two the quality should be a little more refined.

Stoped here for lunch ,they have menus of 2 dishes for 15 Euro. It sounds good but in reality is a catastrohy! First was a "tart" ,a tiny piece of dough topped with cheese and a small piece of chorizo ,warmed in microwave. Taste: awfull!! Main : a spaghetti carbonara disgusting, and the other plate was a leg of turkey cooked... More

Nice to be able to say we had a lot of fun with our waiter. Great service, good traditional food and good value. Extensive menu and wine list. Also a large range of cocktails. English menu.
