Several well-priced "formule" or fixed price dinner options that were well prepared, well presented and delicious. The place is small so reservations are recommended. The owner is out helping in front and the attention to detail shows. Not pretentious. Just right for a date or family dinner.

After researching tripadvisor for restaurants in Epernay, we came across La Cave. Without a booking we were lucky to secure a table and were happy to find it was open on a Sunday night approaching the holiday season! The menu options and set menus, excellent. Wine and champagne kist was excellent. Our family loved the French dining experience and although... More

Busy, bustling place, not suitable for a romantic meal. Wide choice of menus, a lacarte and set menus. Well cooked food, very typical cuisine for the area. Excellent service from professional restauranteurs.

Stopped here for lunch on a day tour to the Champagne region. The food did not disappoint. Real, traditional French cuisine. A little gem in the heart of the town. Thank you for the great coq au vin. Delicious!!

We have been coming here for years, and it is a mystery. The food, as always is amazing. The service is astonishing. Terrible. Like you are a guest in their house, and they have forgotten you. They are perfectly comfortable providing a poor service. And you should just get used to it. Buy the food is superb. Very very good.

This is a great intimate little bistro with a good choice of 'prix-fixe' menus to suit all pockets and all tastes. There is also an a' la carte if you want to go 'off-piste', but it seems to comprise primarily from fixed price menu items. Although service was slow, it was at a pace we could enjoy the champagne and... More

We had a very nice experience with lovely staff, great hearty food and amazing wine and champagne. The restaurant is cosy and warm, but as it is small we strongly recommend you to book as it seems very popular (We were there on a Monday night and we got the last unbooked table and they had to turn away a... We had two different prix fixe meals, both were great. Appetizers, mains and desserts all really good. Best meal we had in France!

Totally recommend this restaurant for delicious, rustic food. The service was friendly and efficient. I loved the atmosphere as well. These are the places I have in mind when eating around France!
