Good food, good service. Not the busiest, fanciest, most hip place in this part of town, but probably one of the best values for the food. The "Dessert du Jour", a two-flavor crème brulée was outstanding

Fairly quiet and seated quickly. Service attentive but not overbearing. Steak was fantastic and came very quickly. Definitely recommended and will come again.

This restaurant was recommended by the hotelier and was just what she had said- traditional, simple food, that made you feel like you were eating in someone's home.

Was disappointed by this place... Food is quite alright but lacking in finesse, as was the service. To be fair the place was hopping and the staff struggled to keep up. Probably our most disappointing dinner in Tours. Would not return nor recommend.

We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant! It's on a street filled with restaurants serving a variety of cuisines from different countries. All of the food, drinks, and desserts at this restaurant were fantastic! The waiter was very friendly, and it's a great spot for people-watching.

L'Etable is a curiously decored establishment along the restaurant-laden Rue Colbert. It has something of the ambience of an American steak-house, and some of the menu items suggest that this is what it's aiming for. Unusually for this area, the menu offers English translations, though these are not universally illuminating. We're usually happy to muddle through without translations anyway, and... More

Quirky, family run, have an English menu and great food. The steak with roquofort sauce was amazing, fresh vegetables and sliced potatoes all for 15 euros!

I visited this restaurant twice and enjoyed really good meals on both visits, including a superb state. Décor is quirky: on each table is a kitchen roll to use as napkins, and pepper and salt were in miniature jampots with holes punched in the lid. The general ambience is rustic. The menus are printed on what looks like school-book maths... More

A nice surprise on a busy pedestrian street full of cafes and restaurants. Food was simple but tasty and wine was excellent! Reasonably priced. Staff were all very friendly, would recommend and will go back when I return to Tours

Expect some waiting time, it's worth it. Food is really amazing! Deserts are best I ever had. We had house wine it was really good.
