A charming restaurant well worth a visit. The food quality is exceptional, well worth a Michelin star at least. The menu is relatively short on choice but each dish we had was exceptional. The filet of beef was cooked to perfection and every dish we chose was of an extremely high culinary and presentation quality. The service was of a very high standard, while in addition to whatever we ordered we were offered 2 delightful amuse-bouche and even after the desert a great selection of sweets. Everything was near or at perfection. If I were to be overly critical, I would point out that the bread was average (a good baguette) while there was no desert wine available in an otherwise good selection of wine from Burgundy.

We would never have found this restaurant, except for a tour guide who was from Dijon and knew of this. Yes, a limited menu. For us, hard to find as well and we appeared to be the only foreigners. But once there we were simply amazed. While one could review each item served - I expect that each night is different. But the the server was fantastic in attending to the needs of the five tables occupied that evening. The presentation of the dishes was spectacular and each bite was an amazing treat and array of flavors and texture. They were more than generous in their extras before and after we had received our order. The four of us who have been around the world agreed that this was indeed a better meal than we had received at Jules Verne in Paris and most other places. We wish them well as a team and we wish we lived nearby so that we could often return,

Finally a restaurant where it is possible to eat very well, in pretty dishes, that's a plus, and for a reasonable price. The welcome is really pleasant. The team is attentive, smiling, and the warm and cozy decoration creates a cozy atmosphere. Don't forget to look at the ceiling, there are beautiful sculpted beams!
The dishes offered are succulent, the presentation is perfect, in short, L'Un des Sens is now on my list of restaurants where I intend to return during my next stopover in Dijon!

Perfect cuisine, very generous, a somewhat original waiter…
Having announced when taking the order that I would not have dessert (the evening menu being imposed), a dessert was still brought to me; expressing to the waiter that I had indicated that I did not want dessert, he told me that I was exaggerating, that I was spoiling, that I could have said it!
I felt like I was standing in front of my father when I was 6 years old and he was going to spank me!
A bit tight for a professional (at least, I hope so)!
I still gave 20 tips, but this server only deserved a super scolding, the other servers were perfect.

Surprise dinner for and with my wife. But where to go, since we live near Dijon and know the restaurants? Let's see what "The Routard's Guide" says. Hey, he says good things about “One of the Senses”. Not know. Let's go! And that’s the huge surprise: absolute perfection. Very nice setting, view of the kitchen, impeccable and not distant service. As for the dishes, absolutely faultless: beautiful presentations, great creativity, but without sophistication, perfect balance of tastes. The choice was between 5, 6 or 7 services. Cautiously, we took the '5', for fear of having too much to eat. Perfect result: we came away satisfied, but not saturated. Wines of very good quality (one white, one red). With an extra glass of champagne, €100 per person and it’s worth it.

I am hard to find in my memory a better dining experience than I had here at L’Un de sens. We walked in and were warmly greeted. I thought I made a reservation from our Burgundy River Cruise the night before, but I was mistaken (different restaurant and I had no way to get in touch with boat concierge). But, Clemmon said no problem and they had a table for us. A five course gourmet experience followed. The chefs were like artists. Every course was like a Monet but every little taste was an incredible interaction between my mouth, tastebuds and my brain trying to process it all. I knew I was someplace special and we just happened to stumble into a lifetime memory. Something about the decor…Enchanting! The walls are stone and rock that seem to date back hundreds of years. The lighting perfect. Clemons picked out a great win €58. We started with me having a coupe of Champagne and my wife a French 75. The entire staff was most friendly. It’s hard to mention any particular course because they were so intricate. Lobster, the different cheeses, the veal, the cold tomato soup (so good it put me in a trance) and the dessert was a chocolate type cake (maybe flourless). One of the breads was like between a roll and a popover. Like cinnamon roll with no cinnamon and sugar. It was delightful. I’ll be recommending this to all my friends that travel to Burgundy and even those that go to Paris.

In the evening, you do not decide on the dishes (except allergies you would have reported), and this can be a brake for some; indeed, you are offered a "surprise" menu in 5, 6 or 7 courses.
Whatever it is: as long as you are a fine mouth and enjoy discovering new flavors, then it will be a memorable meal. The chef strives to find unusual associations perfectly successful! I will not give examples to leave guests the joys of discovery... There were three of us and none of us found a false Rating.
So don't hesitate!

Cannot recommend enough. This is an excellent restaurant with charming staff and exceptional food. The dining room is intimate and stylish , but unstuffy and the staff are welcoming. We went for the 5 course tasting menu and were delighted; stunning presentation, beautifully cooked food, fabulous tastes. If we had been in Dijon longer we would have visited again.
It was full on a Thursday night so booking likely to be needed.

A perfect culinary experience, perfect flavors, a treat for the taste buds and the eyes... What more can I say... Yes... To return with great pleasure... Thank you for the little candles for our wedding anniversary, thank you for the welcome and quality service and special mention to the baker for his delicious bread and to the young cook for the preparation of the tangerine supremes..

I reunited my family at "One of the Senses" on my birthday ( 81!); everything was perfect. The room is nice, well decorated, the tables are spaced.
Flavors , presentation are refined. The service is as efficient as it is friendly. This restaurant does not succumb to the fashion of the so-called "bistronomic" restaurants that serve you with equipment worthy of Courtepaille or Flunch!!! (with a Rating that is not economical )
Address to advise.

My husband and I had dinner here last weekend. There are many options for good restaurants in Dijon, but we’re so glad that we dined here. Everything, and I mean everything, was simply wonderful…the food, wine, staff and beautiful atmosphere. We had such a lovely evening and experience. We’d like to thank the entire team and hope to return the next time that we are in Dijon!

This restaurant is amazing, the atmosphere was warm and friendly. My friend and I had the 5 course tasting menu which was stellar. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits Colmar. It was one of the best meals I have ever eaten.

Well done, the dishes are fine and tasty. Worthy of a star. The furniture needs to be changed.
Address that I recommend.
