We were staying at the hotel and went to their restaurant for dinner. It was fine, upscale. The menu was creative. The service was excellent, cheerful and attentive staff. Extensive wine list. If back in Dijon we would return with enthusiasm.

We would agree that the atmosphere is nice. It was too bad that it was too cold to sit outside in the garden, but you could easily see it from the inside dining room. The choices on the menu were limited, but we were both able to find something we wanted. The wine list was larger and varied enough. Perhaps,... More

We had a set menu as we were in a group which include: garlic mousse, salmon and cream cheese Mille feuille and a sea bass. Garlic mousse and the salmon dish really does not go together in one meal as it is too creamy at the beginning of the meal and the salmon dish had more cream cheese than salmon.... More

Staying in the hotel and tired after travelling with a 4 hour delay at the Channel Tunnel we were glad of a table at the restaurant. The exceptionally good restaurant speciality Kir Royale, with red currants like marbles, blew away all the cobwebs. The starter was a trio of local specialities, snails, ham terrine and an egg poached in wine,all... More

We stayed at the hotel la cloche and decided to eat here as the menu read very well. Great decision as the food was fantastic. We got a table outside and the atmosphere was very nice, the staff were very friendly and attentive and even played with our young daughter. We had s party of four and all of the... More

This is a beautiful restaurant - with a small garden outside. We decided to eat inside as it was a bit humid for us. But nice to have that option. The wait staff was excellent - very attentive. Food was marvelous! I had the Beef Charolais. I remembered the name from a trip to Avignon. It's a particular breed of... More

Menu read very well and in parts the food was good, but each dish had a let down. The crème brulee of sea urchin was wonderful but the accompanying crouton with tomato and crab was dull and uninspiring. A "could have been" dish that didn't get there. Service was also below average - set the wrong cutlery for the orders,... More

As newly arrived guests at the hotel we were too tired to look elsewhere so we dined here. The food was excellent, and the amuse bouches were tasty and much appreciated. Service was enthusiastic, if not overly polished. The lighting however was way too bright for such a classy restaurant.

Gourmet lunch with a glass of Burgundy, in the sunny and quiet garden in April, what else do I need?
