We were looking for something a bit different than french cuisine so through great, a place described as fusion, perhaps a bit of spice for a change. I guess the inclusion of bambou in the name made me think it was going to be french-asian fusion. Well it was not. It was french-bland fusion. Everything looked fantastic but just came... More

We were the second table in the restaurant before it started to get really busy so we had our "entrées" just 10 minutes after giving the order. The entrée was simply great. Our main course arrived a while later and everything went great. Fish came rosé, plates arrived hot, vegetables were cooked al-dente and sauces were at the perfect sauce... More

During a one-day visit of Le Puy-en-Velay, we selected Bamboo et Basilic for a Sunday lunch, based on Tripadvisor reviews. Food (Menu Basilic and Menu Gourmand) was delicious and service matched the food quality. We would certainly return to this restaurant and can fully recommend it.

We had our evening meal here after a long day and it was very enjoyable to take a brake from the rush and the husttle. Delicious food. Served with classe and elegance. A lovely waiter (who had been working there longer than the owner/chef). A bit pricy, but with an excellent wine list. I'll be back.

Recommended from our hotel, didn't have any expectations. We went for the cheapest set menu (29€) and it was amazing! The food was so good! I'm lactose intolerant and they made everything lactose free for me. Will remember this place:)

We stumbled upon this excellent restaurant by chance on a rainy Saturday evening in October - and I am so glad we did. The cooking was excellent, the ingredients seasonal and fresh, each dish perfectly cooked. We also enjoyed some superbly simple amuse -bouches too. The staff were charming, helpful and professional and at €26 for 3 courses, the menu... More

After reading the last review I must have gone to a different restaurant _ I hadn't The food is average, good but without too much excitement , well if you put 3 small slices of Pastry on a salad and think its creative - you know what I mean The main course was shin of pork, easy enough, cheap meat... The food was just superb - creative and delicious beyond description. We were blown away by the quality and the value - if only my home city (Perth, Western Australia) had something of this standard - c'est la vie!
