Called in here without a reservation. Think we were lucky to get a table as it was before 8pm. Fantastic service by very attentive staff. We were helped with the menu and I went for the braised lamb dish which was divine and my wife...had the steak with a pepper sauce prepared before us. The food and service make this place a wonderful restaurant and I can highly recommend it.More

I had reserved a table for 12 people and I'm so happy that the staff were kind enough to accommodate all of us. They also made a special vegetarian dish upon request. Lovely ambience, great food and I highly recommend this place!

Four of us were warmly greeted by the lady and seated . We ordered the plat du jour for lunch . It was fabulous and copious amount . So much that we were unable to have the dessert ! When settling the account we were...pleasantly surprised that the desserts had been deducted from the set price menu !! The decor too is great and displays the owner’s musical interest. We highly recommend this bistro/restaurant .More

Had my my birthday dinner with the other half few days. the lady owner ( sorry i forgot your name) made us feel welcome shaking our hands with a big smile. She sat down with us and explain their best food which we ordered for...both of us couples of oxtail with red wine sauce and roast veggies. It melts in your mouth and with big portions to that we did not manage to finish. We had it with glass of their best red wine which i must say it is the best red wine i had in Bordeaux. End our dinner with their flambèd soufflè which was suggested to us and most of the guests sang with my other half happy bday. And the bill did not cost us much. Thank you so much for this experience and we shall return when we are in the place.More

Guys! A splendid lunch at a very very reasonable price !!! Everything is homemade and Jacques the owner is a chef since a long time and used to have before the other « Exploit restaurant » close to St Pierre which used to be no1 restaurant in...Bordeaux by TripAdvisor. Today, his new place is a pleasure of sharing a savoir-faire cuisine with a precision in tasting and presentation too. His terrasse is not a welcome one but who cares!!! What matters it is what you have on your plates and so delicious!!! So, whenever you are in Bordeaux you must stop there ! I always do when I visit this wonderful town.More

So good we went twice! Extremely tasty and authentic dishes. Huge portions which was why we had to go back as we couldn’t squeeze a dessert in on our first visit and we really wanted to try the soufflé! First visit we had the snails...and goats cheese crumble, both delicious 😋 We then both had the oxtail with foie gras, so tender and delicious, very rich and a huge portion meant that I couldn’t finish it though! On the second evening we were warmly greeted and given a glass of bubbly each on the house, a lovely touch. This time I went without a starter and plumped for the duck with bordelaise sauce, again extremely tasty. Hubby went for the veal sweetbreads which he thoroughly enjoyed! We then both had the soufflé, flambéd with grand marnier...incredible! Definitely worth going back for! Also on the first visit my husband couldn’t finish his bottle of wine and, as we knew we were returning next night, he asked if they could keep it for him and they did! Another nice touch. Amazing food, lovely staff and very reasonably priced considering the quality. Highly recommend 😊More

We spent a great dinner with my friends here. The service and the decoration are great! The meals are very refined and delicious (big portion). For those who don't eat much should order one "Entrée" to share or you won't be able to finish all.
