My husband and I went based on reviews. His steak smelled as though it was dragged through open sewage! My duck breast was just okay. Wine was great as they only served it as opposed to having made it! But the kicker.... the absolute rudest, smirking, jerk of a waiter! EVER!!!! With over twenty trips to France (several of which... I hesitated to answer, i thought it was a fake....we are at the limit of defamation. Apparently you do not like french waiters(even Parisians) All of us,sometimes, have relationship problems, multiplied with the barrier language. I know we are always doing effort for the well being of our guests. By the way, our restaurant is always a fair share of tourists and... More

Monday lunch, plat du jour, €12 plus drinks etc. Good service, hot food, clean restaurant and toilets, just around the corner from the tourist information centre and a short walk to the promenade. Worth a try.

Tuesday lunchtime and the place is full. Very good, not over-priced wine list simple food presentation but good quality and speedy service just what you would expect from a popular city restaurant definitely go back

It seems the locals in Bordeaux go to L'Orleans when they want to celebrate. Well, given that Bordeaux has dozens of very good restaurants, that should immediately tell you something. I can only add that I had, without question, the most delicious beef and Béarnaise sauce, with some amazing potato chips, that I have ever had. The atmosphere inside is... More

Nice and simple bistro for a quick lunch in between activities in the city. Food is very good and met your expectations. Had entrecôte and steak tartar.

Went to L'Orleans last night on an extremely hot August evening because it's close to our hotel and the temperature in Bordeaux was so high. Ordered oysters – they were all right but arrived without mignonette; the waitress seemed miffed when we requested it. Because of the hot weather, we asked for a white Bordeaux; we were told that they... More

dear sir, I am sincerely sorry that your evening in our restaurant was so badly. I am the new manager and since one year the attendance is growing. We cook Every day fresh products and we have very good réputation .Our cellar is one of the best in Bordeaux with more than 5000 bottle (water?). But apparently we can't please... More

Booked this restaurant as very few open on a Sunday. Some confusion regarding our on line booking but the staff sorted something with no issue and we sat outside. Not the cheapest menu but the food and service were good. My wife really enjoyed her steak and the white wine we chose was excellent.

We visited here twice, first for a family evening meal. We enjoyed it so much, we returned for a light lunch, a few days later. Excellent service on both occasions. Good choice on menu (available in English, if required.) Staff spoke excellent English. We sat outside but there is a good ambiance inside as well.

The food was very good, large portions which suited my family well. Duck was well cooked, crème brûlée quite tasty. Our waitress was very attentive, and very kind. Would recommended.

Our first night in Bordeaux was a Sunday, and not sure other restaurants were open, we fortunately chose this one. Just lovely inside with superb food---oysters and foie gras to begin, then Entrecote for my husband and, showing the chef does food beyond the typical brasserie, an Asian-inspired tuna covered with sesame seeds and then grilled---with vegetables Asian style. Superb... More
