This is got to be a place to go when in Strasbourg. Make sure you make reservations. Very cool place to eat and the food is amazing. You can not go wrong when going here.

Coming from Basel, Switzerland couple days ago where high prices were the norm, this place almost seems too cheap for good food. Well indeed not only it is cheap by comparison, but so plentiful the three of us actually shared 2 lunches and almost didn't finish. Came here for lunch around 1pm on a weekday without reservation, and it was... More

We came twice in one day and had the flammkuchen of münster cheese with bacon and onions - it was that excellent! When we came back for dinner, I had the cordon bleu with vegetables and mushroom cream sauce. The best cordon bleu I've ever had in my life. The place is huge! Seems as if the whole restaurant was... We're able to book tables for delegation of 18 on the same day. Beautiful local cuisine but huge portions. The Alsace wine was lovely and we don't drink enough of it here. Two lovely table haute menus €24 or €33 - had something for everyone but ended up being quite expensive evening with the £ where it is. Seems to... More

Every time I go to Strasbourg, I always try and make time to take customers here. Friendly efficient service, great consistent food and a fantastic choice of wines. The Alsatian food portions are big and tasty - often big enough to share, but the prices are reasonable enough for you to just indulge.

Just great all around local restaurant. The local wine us great and almost a must with the food. You can relay on what the waiters recommend. We enjoyed a sauerkraut with 3 fish dish main after a very good escargot starter. The restaurant is located perfectly

Can't complain this restaurant. Food and wines are typical Alsatian nutriture, you whether like it or not. In this restaurant kitchen is french by taste but portions Germanic, they are enormous. Atmosphere is very nice with old rock walls. Also service is excellent but usually busy. Very popular restaurant.

A really fun restaurant with great atmosphere, service, and food. We had the chicken in riesling and the pork knuckle - really delicious meals. Dessert was also amazing! I would book or go early if you can - it fills up quickly!

Ambiance: Lovely, romantic, candlelight, inside of a cave, rock walls. Food: I am not sure all the food is phenomenal but my dishes certainly were. I did the Alsatian menu. Started with the onion pie. GET THE ONION PIE. I am still thinking about that onion pie, wish I could have had a larger slice of it. YUM. Then I... More
