The terrace is really nice, and you will pay for that, because the food is "so so" and the service is slow.

I wouldn't recommend to visit, prices are to high for the quality they propose, there is a lot mor better places in Strasbourg

The room is big and may become noisy. The service is good and relatively fast. The waitress was very friendly. The food is good: mostly traditional dishes, quite heavy but tasty.

This is an excellent choice for a traditional alsatian meal We go there every time we go to Strasbourg Good location near the Cathedral - very friendly staff - despite the place being rather large (2 different floors) rather cosy A must if you are in Alsace during the asparagus season

Very friendly and accommodating staff, food was very good though the menu was a little limited - fine if you like the local cuisine. Prices moderate. A highlight was the arrival of an older couple - both well over 80 - who were feted and lead to the best table in the room like a duke and duchess. Both obviously... More

Christmas Eve we ate here - considering the space it was half empty (I think we went to the third floor). Traditions setting and food, we had local wine and I had coq au Riesling as a main which was ok. Our waiter was ok but the other chap on our level seemed a little distant. Nice setting, but didn't... Food is quite good with normal prices, recommended the beef fillet with steamed potatoes. The service is impolite and careless and they don't speak English. The decoration is nice with wood and vitro windows, warm and cozy. Not very touristic although in the center preffered by French people.

Wow! We were beyond impressed with the food, service and atmosphere of this restaurant. It is warm, cosy and has a very homely feel. We had the pork knuckle which was tender and tasty, perfect for a winter night. Also recommend the salmon with potato cakes for something light. The food is cooked with lots of flavour and is just... In the allegedly oldest restaurant in Strasbourg, located in the centre of the old town close to the cathedral. The interior is needless to say very quaint, wood panelled and traditional, feeling very cosy. The menu has a good range of dishes, including many Alsatian specialities, the wine list also has a better than average range of choices. Food quality... More
