we were a large groupd, reservation is MANDATORY some of the waters can speak english, it was a quite packed place though we had some fondues and raclettes, well served and perfectly prepared. Perhaps a bit overpriced but in the end...we all knew where we were going

If ever in Strasbourg you must come here! The cheese tasting is really a delight for the senses. We also had the Foie Gras which was of generous portion and also delicious. We even had goat cheese Macarons. Can't wait to go back if ever in Strasbourg.

This place exceeded my expectations in all possible ways. Their variety on cheese and quality of everything they serve definetely made one of the greatest memories of my travel to Strasbourg. Staff is friendly and environment is cosy. Unless you don't like cheese, it is a place that cannot be missed

We've been to La Cloche a Fromage in October 2012 and we still have good memories on it. In short, we really loved it! Very good food if you like cheese. We both tried two different cheese fondues and didn't regret our choice. Even though it was quite some time ago we will definitely come back one day.

The raclette A volonté is really good, you do not leave the table beeing hungry. Nice place to try for people who like french cheese. Prices are pretty high.

Everything was beyond amazing. I still daydream about the raclette and the fondue was also superb. They will match your drink to what you are eating (and dont even serve drinks that dont taste good with the cheese) The service was a little slow but it is packed so they are very busy. Make sure to get a reservation as... More

We were six and had a nice time, but this was in spite of the service. Its a little disorganised, despite nodding in acknowledgement, we didn't get everything we ordered and too much of things we did order, but it was OK, we went with it. We had booked prior to travelling and selected the 19:00 booking knowing there was... More

Dear customer All the customers that made a reservation for a table at 19:00 pm are always told that the table is rebooked at 21:15 pm . Only the chef manager is in charge of taking reservations. We might have been a bit rude repeating you again that your table shall be left at 21:15 pm and we apologize for... More

Second time I was here. Lovely delicate starter with foie gras and cheese and a nice glass of gewurzstraminer. I chose the amazing fondu with Epoisses, it was followed by fondu with Munster which was of course much softer but also deeper. The staff is knowledgeable, but you have to be a little assertive. Highly, highly recommended. Can't wait to... More

My family of four ate at La Cloche while in Strasbourg for the Christmas Market. We had the most delicious ( and cheesy) fondue and raclette. It was the perfect meal after the cold day visiting the market. They also did a wonderful job catering to our two children. (1/2 price meals and colored pencils) We also tried a puffed... More

This is a wonderful place! The large variety of all different kinds of cheese is nicely presented in a huge "cheese dome" next to the entrance and well visible also from outside. We had two tasting plates called Rabelais (mostly cow) and Amalthée (goat and sheep cheese), each with about 15 different kinds of cheese, arranged in ascending order of... More
