A smallish room - meaning you should arrive early - that's run very efficiently by a couple who seem to have very little help but who nonetheless manage to offer excellent service. Food was typical French fare so the sauces were delightful. And it's located on a side street a bit away from the main drags so it led to... More

The food was fine, the service was the worst I have experienced in Europe. To the point I did not leave a tip, the first time in at least 35 years. I would not recommend this place.

While the food was good, it was all diminished by the rudeness of the person waiting on our table. I'm not sure if it was because we were not fluent in French or if it was because we were Americans.

This is a cozy little restaurant in a wonderful location and it could be so much more. I arrived fifteen minutes after it opened for dinner on a Saturday night and was the second table in the restaurant. It can seat 30. I was treated civilly but did not feel welcomed. I requested a menu or specific information in English... More

We were nine people and several ordered a steak, which turned out to be quite tough. Everything else was excellent, though. Great service and we managed in halting German to make things work.

Only two waiters and a slow kitchen make for a long wait. Food is good, but uneven. I had a millefeuilles d'aubergines. It was two grilled aubergine slices with soft white cheese between and two dollops of aubergine caponata-like puree. Tasty, but not extraordinary. A fish entree arrived an hour and a half after I did. It was very over... More

We were very fortunate to get a seat without a reservation; others who hoped to be seated after we arrived were turned away if they didn't have a reservation. This was the best meal we had during our stay in Strasbourg. I had eggplant as a starter, which was very gourmet, the best I've ever had. I love eggplant that... More

Traditional French cousine with a fancy touch. It's a small place with few tables, we made a reservation some hours before going. The waitress was very receptive, she speaks only French but she did her best to communicate. The price is a little bit high, we had wine, starter, main course and dessert.

Our hotel recommended this lovely little restaurant on a quiet street. Quietly welcoming, small but not over-crowded. My husband and I both opted for the 31euro three-course dinner. We started with terrine of rabbit - beautifully presented with creative vegetable garnish and delicious. We had incredibly chicken on risotto with a delicate cream sauce - oh my! And there was... This little French gem was an inspired recommendation of Australian friends. Welcoming atmosphere, cheerful and helpful service and great food made for a wonderful memory of Strasbourg. Give it a try.
