My boyfriend and I came to Strasbourg just for dinner after visiting Europa Park earlier in the day. We were walking the beautiful cobblestone streets looking for a place to eat and we we're not finding exactly what we were looking for. We saw a lady walking her dog and politely asked here if she could give a recommendation. She... More

We ate here in October 2013. We could not make up our mind where to stop in the Old Town for lunch and liked the sound of the German style food in this restaurant. When we got inside and saw the size of the meals being served, we changed our minds on having a traditional meal and chose Nicoise and... More

Recently visited this restaurant for diner whilst touring the Alsace Wine Area. This busy little restaurant was frequented by many locals - always a good sign. We loved the buzz and the coziness of it, our owner/waiter was attentive and was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his menu. The food was authentic, wholesome and delicious and we spent a fabulous evening... More

Good and authentic Alsatian food. Great little restaurant which feels like you are dining in an Alsatian home. Service was slow and somewhat frustrating.

It is a nice looking restaurant and has a good atmosphere but unfortunately the service was slow and left us a little disappointed. Food when it arrived was good though and a large portion, if that's your thing. Overall seemed pretty expensive for what it was though.

We went for dinner with no reservations with a family of 5 (3 toddlers) and luckily we went right before the dinner rush. The place was packed quickly with some groups waiting outside. The staff was very friendly even with our 3 little toddlers and lack of the French language. Not really a place for little kids but as stated... More

Located in a particularly lovely part of town with attractive sights in a largely pedestrian venue, this restaurant feels less touristed than one might expect. We had a satisfying lunch here on a chilly autumn day. We both started with French onion soup that was tasty and warming. We each had a glass of Alsacian wine and there was a... More

Even if we were somewhat difficult guests with mediocre French and slow decisions, the waitress never lost her temper and good mood. So we had a nice evening here with good food and tasty wine. Prices are as at other places in Strasbourg. Outdoor sitting is limited. There is a vegetarian tarte flambee, which was even a little too heavy... More

We were visiting Strasbourg for the day while in the Black Forest and it was raining almost constantly. La Petite Alsace beckoned and we decided to follow its sweet song promising tarte flambee (or Flammkuchen in German; think super-thin pizza-ish dough, toppings and all is baked over an open flame in an oven). Lovely little place in La Petite France... More

This restaurant is located in the Petite France area. We were exploring the area when we passed by noticing only one empty table outside on a beautiful evening. We were given menus promptly. I ordered quiche lorraine which was served beautifully and was delicious. My husband ordered the recommended salmon and had the better dinner. We lingered over wine and... More
