The food is really REALLY amazing and I'm kinda expert on that since I've gone to syria 4 times before the current crisis happend. The service and decorations plus overall cleanliness is also spot on.

If you are in Colmar and looking for an alternative to the local Alsace fare (which is excellent but sometimes an alternative is nice) then this is the place to go. The food here is absolutley delicious. It is fresh and perfectly seasoned. The Kefraya from Lebanon is beautiful and goes really well with the food. It is a small... More

Palmyre is in a great location just around the corner from Little Venice and in viewing distance of a square with a fountain. It is a very small place with outside tables for about 14 people. We just had a few drinks with appetizers of Hummus, Tabbouleh, breads and cheeses. Everything was excellent and very fresh. Portions for the full... More

A justifiably popular Middle Eastern restaurant in central Colmar. It was nearly full the Monday night I had dinner there, with a mixture of local clients and tourists. The food was excellent (I had the kofta, which was nicely seasoned and served with a saffron-like rice). Unusual selection of Lebanese wines on the menu; the owner recommended a red, which... More

Sometimes after a while in France, you just need to eat something different and light. This Lebanese restaurant is the perfect option for a delicious, healthy, fresh food. I recommend their taboulih, hummous, skewers... Mmmm... Just delicious!

The atmosphere is very nice, and the menu is very interesting. The waiter was very nice and helpful to understand everything on the menu. The table are quite close to each other so it can get a little bit noisy.

We found ourselves in Colmar on a Monday night (tired and hungry after a day’s driving down the Alsace Wine Route), when several restaurants seem shut in the town. As vegetarians, we are always drawn to Lebanese/ Middle Eastern cuisines given the usual plethora of options, and Palmyre certainly didn’t disappoint. They didn’t have a vegetarian main course (sadly), but... More

You walk in this restaurant and are immediately transported in a different world. The owner greats you with a warm and authentic smile that makes you feel right at home. And this is also how you feel enjoying the "home made" taste of Syrian food prepared by the owners wife. If there is one thing of the great menu you... More
