Fantastic food, staff and atmosphere. Good quality food, we did wait longer than anticipated However it was well worth the wait! Had the meatballs- delicious! I'm a coffee and the espresso and the biscotti were fantastic! We got more biscotti! Will definitely be going again!

My sisters and I took my mum for a birthday meal. From the moment we arrived, we were treated superbly, and the staff made my mum feel like an extra special guest. They were attentive without being overbearing, offering advice on the menu without trying to up-sell. A quality experience, delicious food in beautiful surroundings. Can't wait to go back!

Had a fantastic meal and drinks but we was placed at the top of the stairs to the toilets where there was a general whiff of piss cubes coming up occasionly. Other than that it was a great evening but I still preferred my local Italian restaurant la scala for menu choice and quality.

We went for afternoon tea on a busy Saturday at 2pm. Even though I the restaurant was humming lay busy, we still felt like we were the only ones here as the staff were so charming and really looked after us. Nothing was too much trouble. We had the champagne afternoon tea and the champagne was excellent - not a... More

This was the first time I've been here in a few years. Why? I don't know, but I won't make that mistake again. My abiding memory of the place was one of very decent food in none too swish surroundings but with an excellent, convivial atmosphere and of of being served by people who gave you the feel that they... A grand old bulding with wonderful ambience. The staff looked after us extremely well, the food and drink were delicious, and I had a delightful companion. What more could any man ask for? If I must find something to pick fault with, then the menu. It was so long and varied we spent ages struggling to decide what to order.... More

We hadn't booked and when we got there at 1am it was quite busy and all the staff were very welcoming - we were taken to our seats and the waiter was very keen to take our order - we ordered the platter of tempura fish - there was plenty of it - but was all a bit of a... More

First time since the refit, very impressive dinning room tables well spaced, 11 of us and plenty of space. The room is nicely decorated and well lit, to many places want you to eat in the dark this had a good ambiance. The service throughout the visit was first class, efficient, courteous and maintaining typical Italian charm the girls loved... More
