Great, old fashioned food: we had bread and dripping as an appetiser, corned beef hash and Barnsley chop as mains, finished off with bread pudding. Victorian (?) interior, friendly service, good beers and fair prices.

Delicious food in an atmospheric setting. Not great for the waistline, but hearty, honest fare. A good meal for a cold, wet afternoon.
