I come to Manchester quite often for work, and being Asian, I always go to the chinese restaurant nearby for my quick lunch fix fit for the weather. This is my first visit to Pancho's despite having been to Manchester four times, and I regret not coming earlier. I'm not familiar of how to order my food here, but Chef... More

we went 2 days ago we had a enchiladas and a mutton burritos the food was good but the customers service was very poor, the lady behind the counter (redhair which seemed to be in charge of the shop) was very rude and she was speaking a foreign language (made me think they were talking about us)..Price ok but definitely... I came here before going to a gig a couple of Fridays ago. I love Mexican food and finding good Mexican food is hard! But I was pretty impressed by the burritos here, even more impressed that there's no hidden charge for what would usually be "extras" in other places such as guac. The staff were friendly and helpful. The... More

I had a large beef burrito, tomato bread, with all the accouterments etc. The rice was hard and undercooked which made a really horrible crunch eating it. The lady behind the counter was rude and standoffish and the portions were poor. I definitely won't be returning - not a shadow on Changos up the road.

My boyfriend and I have been eating here 2 to 3 times a week for a long while now as we live round the corner, we loved it because the staff were friendly and loved the burrito boxes. I recommend it to all of my friends however the last couple of times I have been there seems to be a... More

Full of flavour, very filling and fairly cheap, but I'm sorry to say lukewarm. We nipped in for a quick bite to eat and whilst I don't regret it, the food wasn't hot enough. My husband has been before at lunchtime and said it was a lot better.

I heard about Panchos online a few months back but always forgot to give it a go when in Manchester. I finally remembered last week and I'm glad I did. Myself and my wife had the large burritos, I had the cactus pork and my wife had the mild pulled pork. The fresh salad, spicy salsa, guacamole and cheese added... More

I ordered a burrito here, it was the worst Mexican food I've ever had (and I'm including my attempts at using Old El Paso packs) - unbelievably bland and they didn't even have any hot sauce. It's not that it tasted bad or anything, it just didn't taste of anything.

Dear Customer e are sorry to hear that you did not like our food as 96% of our customers do. But just to put the record straight, your statement about not having hot sauce is inaccurate. We have a choice of many different Salsa (sauces), one of them being a very hot homemade Habanero Salsa. Maybe you did not ask... More

Finding quality Mexican food, not to mention great customer service when eating out in Manchester has been a challenge. Moving from the West Coast of the U.S.A., Mexican food is my favourite and some of the tastiest stuff is usually unassuming, served out of a taco truck on the side of the street...not easy to find that sort of authentic... Panchos Burritos started out on the streets as do all good taco stands in Mexico. After living in Mexico for some years Mexico City born Enrique and his Manchester born wife Colette decided to bring the taste of Mexico back to England. They started their own Burrito stand catering for friends parties and music festivals. At one of these festivals they met German born Klaus who when seeing the burrito stand realised it was a brilliant concept. This created Panchos Burritos. Based in Manchester city centre we have two market stalls in the busy Arndale Centre market and have been going strong there since January 2010. Enrique tries to keep it real using recipes passed on by his family in Mexico City. Fresh food is cooked on the stall every morning and by lunchtime the smell of delicious tasty Mexican food wafts around the marketplace. Meats are slow roasted in the oven then added to delicious freshly made salsas to be served with rice or on a burrito.
