We popped in while staying at the Premier Inn across the street. This was a perfect stop for breakfast. The drinks were fab (best cup of tea I'd had in Manchester). Though looking for a full English my partner loved the eggs benedict with crispy bacon. I had poached eggs with avocado served on sour dough, which was absolutely delicious.... More

Was in Manchester and wanted a place to do some work. This is a spacious/open cafe, which obviously takes pride in itself. Nice decor, warm, friendly staff, and WiFi and power sockets for laptops! Flat White was REALLY good, and Cappucino + Gingerbread was stunning! Cake and cookie selection looks good, and the small bites-type menu looks really good. Scrambled... More

This Small Cafe near Manchester Piccadilly is the perfect lazy morning breakfast which had perfect eggs and coffee and even let me stray from the menu slightly A fantastic cafe definitely worth a visit!👍🏻

Lovely immaculate cafe full of beautiful plants and nice deli products. We all had different freshly cooked egg breakfasts and they we all cooked to perfection. Special mention for the crushed avocado, poached eggs and bacon on sourdough - delicious 😀 Coffee so good we bought the beans.

Only 5 minutes from Picadilly and a much better option that one of the branded breakfast places where you pay £5 for a mass produced BLT. Lovely food, all cooked to order and great value (2 breakfasts, tea and coffee £14) and pleasantly served in a quaint little cafe. Very nice, impressed :)

North Star Piccadilly is the second venue of North Star Delicatessen in Chorlton, but Piccadilly having more of a focus on being a cafe, which also sells other nice items you can take home. In Piccadilly Basin, it sits in a new building and is joined via a door to some sort of offices. I'm not sure who they are,... More

Given the location of this cafe on a route the city centre workers tread to and from work, rather than being in an area where people would actively seek to relax (no views at all) the limited opening hours of this cafe are rather strange. When in the city I've often thought in passing that a coffee would be nice,... More

There are simply no other words to describe this cafe but simply adorable! It's the type of place you can come alone, as a couple or with a group and feel totally at ease. There's a real homely feel to the North Star that is hard to come by in a place as busy as Piccadilly. I would recommend it... More

I don’t like writing negative reviews generally, like to save my energy for giving positive feedback and praise where due but the experience I’ve just had here was so bad I’m willing to make an exception. I went in for lunch from work, on my own and hadn’t visited before. As a previous review states the café was very quiet... More
