Just dropped in for a warm drink - fab hot chocolate and interesting tasty looking menu which will ensure we will be back to eat. Very relaxed with hundreds of books to curl up and read. Rewards searching it out. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Visited at late Thursday lunchtime. Food good. Prompt service. Girl in attendance very pleasant. My breakfast meal was as asked for with well done bacon etc. Very tasty but let down by the long dark hairs hiding among the rashers. Definitely not porcine. Glimpses of the cooking area revealed lady with long dark hair roughly plaited but which presumably for... More

Really great little place for lunch...and tea - good menu selection for light or more substantial lunch and snacks. All food was delicious and freshly prepared - we had a selection of teas, sandwiches and salads and the mac/cheese and all were equally good. The portion size was right and inexpensive. Service very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere homely... More

Its been a few years since my last visit to the Art of Tea, (no recent Didsbury hipster place this) and its just as charming as I remember it. As soon as you walk in you want to begin exploring its different levels and rooms, after the great smell of coffee (best Cappuccino in town) you can head through to... More

Went out with my friend and looking for a nice place to have a cup of coffee. At first my friend was not very impressed with a place but very reluctantly agreed to try this place. I had Moroccan tea and my friend had a latte coffee. We also had a kiwi fruit cake which was a real treat. The... More

This was definitely a nice surprise. This is a lovely spot where you are sure to find great food, good quality music, a very nice and smiling service and a secondhand book store for you to stroll through lots of interesting books. I really loved the experience but what made this place special for me was the atmosphere of the... More

The Art of Tea is our favorite local cafe/restaurant. As well as the best cappuccino in Didsbury, it offers interesting and creative food options with a wide range of a la carte meals and specials. The macaroni and white stilton is to die for - and the maple and pecan flapjacks are heaven! Watch out for the homemade soup of... More

I popped in as I was in the area and had been told of this little gem so thought I'd give a go. Just a quick pit stop but will be coming back, warm and vibrant, smiling friendly staff and of course great coffee, may have found a new place for my. Morning coffee

Came here for a Sunday brunch... the food was good, average, nothing too exciting. However, the atmosphere of the place made it really lovely and the bookshop at the back is worth a visit!

This cafe is regularly packed with locals so you sometimes may need a short wait. We had a great brunch of egg royals and egg florentine. My friend had a soya latte and I had a green tea from an excellent menu choice. Service was prompt and friendly, food was very tasty (although my egg was bit too firm on... More
