Amazing meal on Friday evening! Visited here on Friday evening, and the quality of the food was outstanding. The menu choice was small, but almost every dish was suitable for those following a Gluten Free Diet or are Vegan. Not a vegetarian myself, but I'll for sure be back in the future :)

Lovely place, nice staff, food looked amazing but tasted horrible. The chickpea, quinoa pancake was so dry and had a horrible after taste, there were crunchy bits sprinkled on the greens that I nearly broke tooth on, the chilli soya yogurt dressing was also horrible, All it really consisted of was a dry pancake with a load of mushrooms with... Somewhat overpriced for very small portions. Additionally the cheapest red wine was over £20 for an average Merlot.

Visited here for a birthday meal, the food, menu and whole concept of the restaurant was really cool and impressive. I especially liked how they use local produce etc. Our food was lovely and the quirky cocktails went down well. My only gripe was the fact that we were slapped with a service charge (4 of us dined) which we... More

An infrequent chance for a nice meal out for two so was really looking forward to the meal. The night was cold and unfortunately so was the restaurant; not freezing but cold enough to keep my scarf on. We were quickly seated and given our menus. The "spring menu" was a little surprising for a November evening. The tomato salad... More

Nice food unusual and enjoyable but I was disappointed that the toilets and kitchen were not very clean for a restaurant.

Good location. Very vegetarian, with a good choice of dishes. My non veggie friends enjoyed it. I personally didn't like my choice, "surf & turf", but the starter, goats cheese bon bons, was good. Nice wine choice too. Presentation excellent in all dishes and service attentive without being overly so. About £25 each, inc one glass of wine, so not... More

We visited 1847 Manchester last weekend for dinner, having heard good reports and I'm happy to say that overall we weren't disappointed. The restaurant is small, but they make good use of the space they have and even as it began to fill up, it never felt cramped or overcrowded. There was a nice buzz in the air and the... More

Had the vegan fish and chips here. Was a really nice twist with the lemon curd.. (maybe you could sell this in jars because I really miss it on toast too!!) I like how it feels like a proper high quality restaurant as most vegetarian places are like homely cafes. Keep up the good work! I'm going down to Brighton... More
