Really enjoyed this place. Came on a recommendation from my fiancé and was not disappointed. The main selling point of fresh ingredients was borne out in the food. The goat and classic lamb we had were excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed it, worth a visit

Style over substance. The 2 curries we had were tasteless (chicks handi, grandmothers beef). As was the seekh kebab starter The food is overpriced and you can eat much better for half the price (Chapati for example).

Hi Mr David sorry to hear that your food was tasteless. these two items are really popular and we sell many. it may happen but that doesn't mean that you stop coming. please talk to Matin/Javed(restaurant manager). we will give you one curry on the house. please let me know when you coming. thank you again for you comments. Went to coriander for our friends birthday party of 20! We got a table booked in advance for 8pm! Looked nice wasn't that busy for a thursday, we arrived all on time, service was slow took too long for drinks & food orders, overall thought the food was ok, not the cheapest indian but the main problem was the service... thanks for your comments we appriciated your views. for twenty people it take time. just imagine to cook the first dish and the 20th dish. not only that, it was big confusion among you to make five tabs that took long time to decide. some of you did not know what to order. anyway, we will be at your service... I think we all enjoyed the quality of the food. Interesting choices, some definitely different, some just different twists on more familiar dishes. Not huge portions but we left full. Some of us had been before, I would Def go again

Nice enough venue, decent service but the food was just average for me. The lamb was a bit overdone and the sides were bland and uninspiring. The mixed kebab was OK. The best bit was the poppadums and pickles.

I went to coriander with a friend and both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The staff were friendly and helpful and very up on asking about any allergies. I had the ginger and mushroom chicken which was beautiful. Spicy enough to leave a pleasant tingle but not to blow my tastebuds out! Poppadoms were generous and the pickle tray was lovely.... More

I brought my partner here for a meal here on a Friday evening. I've given top marks because nothing could be faulted. Was the nicest rogan josh I have had in a long time, as it was my first visit I thought I'd choose something standard to set the bar and was not disappointed. I'm looking forward to trying the... I visited Coriander last weekend, didnt book. Inside it is clean but slightly uninspiring slightly canteenish although the lighting is at least decent and provides a bit of ambience. However the lack of decor is more than compensated by the food which is amazing. We started with the obligatory poppadoms and pickles. I was pleased to note these were really... More

The service was very good, but the seafood starter (for one) seemed poor value - one of the items was an onion bargee! The main course, Chicken Shaslic was OK but not exactly moreish. I left some of the chicken in thiss dish. When we first entered the premises we were ushered into a back and slightly cramped room; we... More

Coriander makes it quite clear that it's offering something a little different to the standard UK curry house menu, so it shouldn't really be a surprise that that's what you get! It's not a particularly warm welcome, and the portion sizes are on the small side. The food is perfectly palatable: sweeter, more aromatic and less oily than you might... More
