I booked this for a large party of friends after reading the great reviews. Being a small place I was hoping it wouldn't be poky and dark. It wasn't, it was light and stylishly decorated. The meal was truly superb and all the staff made...More

Not been here before, but came with friends who had as they live in the area. Hidden gem down quaint side street. Only a few choices on the menu but the food was really nice and cooked and presented to perfection. Not cheap either but...More

Nice relaxing decor, pleasant atmosphere. We ( group of 6 ladies) ate from the weeknight menu and found it good value and with good choices and alternatives. I had chicken liver pate and then beef with mash - both excellent. House wine also very nice...More

Visited for a family Sunday lunch. Lovely ambience, helpful unobtrusive staff, and delightful cuisine make this a special find, tucked away in a narrow cobbled lane just off the main road to Didsbury from Manchester. I was most impressed on my first visit in August,...More

Excellent starters and desserts. Main was a disappointment though. Hubby and I both had the duck. Sauce was very watery and lacked in flavour. Duck was dry and very pale the skin/fat needed rendering down I had to cut it off and leave on side...More

This is a lovely little restaurant in a pretty location which my partner and other friends have discovered only recently, mainly because Jem&I round the corner has just closed.

Returned to eat here after a few months absence and wondered why we had left it so long. This small restaurant, tucked away from the main road in a narrow cobbled street has never failed to produce a quality meal. As there are not a...More

No.4 Dine and Wine opened in 2005 and has gone from strength to strength with a huge amount of regular customers from Didsbury and surrounding areas.Still owned and managed by Paul & Nina Burton who take part in the day to day running of the restaurant with a small team of friendly loyal staff.Menus are seasonal using as many local suppliers as possible. All dishes are homemade including bread baked every day, desserts and their popular chocolate truffles served with coffee.Ideal for a relaxed meal whether popping in for an early dinner or a special occasion. Small parties can also be catered for.Friendly & efficient service with the chance to watch the chefs in the kitchen! Booking advisable but not always essential.
